For me, nothing works better than uphill sprints. I can get an unbelievable workout in very little time, so this is my go to sprint session especially when I'm in a bit of a rush.
With that said, the biggest thing I needed to be careful of is protecting my calves. I'm prone to calf strains and so I need to ensure my calves feel strong enough, and are warmed up enough, to handle the intensity.

What are your interval times?
Usually 30 second sprints, 90 second rest.
