UPDATE: This special pre-order offer is now expired. While the 20% discount no longer applies, order a copy of Quick & Easy Meals today and you will still receive the Primal Blueprint Shopping List (while supplies last) and FREE S&H (domestic orders only).

I’m very excited to announce that Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals will begin shipping next week! Since releasing The Primal Blueprint back in 2009 countless readers have asked me a) “what exactly should I eat?” and b) “how can I do it with little to no time?”. Last year, professional chef Jennifer Meier and I put our heads together to answer the first question. The result was the original Primal Blueprint Cookbook. On the heels of its success we jumped straight into the task of answering the second question. And now, I’m proud to say, our mission is complete. In this new book you’ll find over 100 mouth-watering recipes with easy-to-follow instructions and 300 brilliant, full-color, glossy photographs to guide and inspire you to cooking Primal meals in 30 minutes or less.

To mark this occasion and to thank loyal Mark’s Daily Apple readers I’ve put together a special 72-hour limited-time pre-order offer for you (offer expires at 10 am PST, Sunday, March 13). Continue reading to learn why you should pre-order your copy of Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals today!

1. Get 20% off the cover price.

Pre-order Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals in the next 72 hours and you’ll save 6 bucks off the regular retail price.

2. Get a FREE laminated Primal Blueprint Shopping List.

Custom made for this special pre-order offer, this Primal Blueprint Shopping List comes laminated in durable plastic and with a fine-point dry erase marker. Not sure if it’s Primal? Check the list.

Jerusalem artichokes? Check.

Macadamia oil? Check.

Gooseberries? Check.

Use the list every time you visit your local grocery store or farmers’ market and you’ll rest assured that you’re eating like Grok.

3. Autographed copy for first 1,000 pre-orders.

UPDATE: In the interest of avoiding carpal tunnel I’m going to have to end this part of the offer as the first 1,000 pre-orders have already been placed! But don’t worry. If you order by Sunday, 10am PST, you can still get the 20% discount, the Shopping List, free S&H and support Mark’s Daily Apple in the process. Grok on!

During the Primal Blueprint Cookbook launch of 2010 the first 1,000 pre-orders were placed in mere hours, so if you’d like the genuine John Hancock of Jennifer Meier and yours truly to grace the first page of your copy you better act fast!

4. Get FREE Shipping and Handling for a limited time.

Shipping and handling is a pain, isn’t it? If you pre-order now, you can avoid the shipping costs and get the book for a flat fee. (Disclaimer: Free shipping to US customers only.)

5. Take advantage of the Buy 2 Get 1 Free limited-time offer.

Purchase 2 copies and I’ll ship you a 3rd copy for free. All three copies will come signed (if you order within the first 1,000, see #3 above) and each will be accompanied with a Primal Blueprint Shopping List and pen. Just add 2 copies to your shopping cart and the 3rd copy will show up for free. This too only lasts 72 hours so grab a copy for your friends and family members now while the offer is still kickin’.

6. If you like The Primal Blueprint Cookbook and MDA recipes, you’ll love Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals.

We took years of experience cooking Primal dishes and countless hours tasting and testing in the kitchen to bring you the best of the best in this new cookbook volume. Additionally, we’ve listened to feedback from readers of the first cookbook. This time around the cookbook comes with an index (so searching for a recipe with a particular ingredient is a breeze) and macronutrient breakdowns for each recipe (so you know the fat, carb and protein content of each meal). If you’ve tried and enjoyed any Primal Blueprint recipes in the past, I guarantee you’ll find something you love in this new edition.

7. It will give you the kick start you probably need.

You’re ready to lose weight, get fit, and improve your health, but you don’t know where to begin! This book tells you exactly what to eat and how to prepare it in easy-to-follow instructions and with step-by-step photos. No more guesswork needed. Just flip open the book for Primal-certified breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes.

8. Because you want to support Mark’s Daily Apple!

Mark’s Daily Apple is a labor love… a very expensive labor of love. Between hosting fees, development work, graphic designers and everything else that goes into maintaining a successful blog, the costs add up. To be frank, the only way I can fund this site and continue to give away all of this free content is to sell books and other products. If you’ve personally received any value from Mark’s Daily Apple and The Primal Blueprint I hope you will consider picking up a copy today so MDA can continue to thrive and reach more people just like you.

9. If you don’t like it, I’m offering a 100% money back guarantee.

Just try the recipes for a month and I’m sure you’ll be hooked. If you don’t notice an appreciable improvement in body composition and health, or don’t find this to be the best Primal/paleo/low-carb cookbook on the market return it and I’ll refund your money. Just one taste of any recipe and I’m absolutely certain you’ll love it.

10. Be the first on the block to receive it.

Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals will not be available in stores or online retailers (including Amazon.com) until March 25. You can only get it from PrimalBlueprint.com. So grab your copy today to avoid the wait, and to get the official early adopter badge. (Disclaimer: The early adopter badge doesn’t really exist. Reference to the early adopter badge was only inserted for the purpose of eliciting a few chuckles. Please don’t email me about not receiving an early adopter badge with your cookbook.)

(Bonus Reason: You just may be buying a copy of the worst cookbook of 2011!)

So pre-order today and get a first edition, hardcover, autographed copy of Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals at 20% off the cover price with a FREE Primal Blueprint Shopping List and FREE shipping and handling. Thanks, everyone, and Grok on!

P.S. Tell your friends about this offer by clicking “ShareThis” below. They’ll thank you for the heads up.

  1. That’s great! I bet there are a lot of folk that want to give it a try, but are scared of all the food prep. Bravo sir!

    1. Of course, I can’t sign the book, the buy 2 get 1 free doesn’t apply to Amazon orders, and Amazon won’t be shipping the book until the end of the month, but if you dig up your Amazon order confirmation email and email it to me (mark at marksdailyapple dot com) I will be happy to send you the Shopping List and pen. Thanks for your pre-order and Grok on!

      1. I ordered one on Amazon too. But I’m okay with ordering a second through your website as well. I think I ended up buying 6 Primal Blueprints and 5 of the first cookbooks, just to give out to friends. I never seem to get my copy back! hahaha…love it!

I’ll be happy if this book is only half as good as the first one! Keep them coming!

      2. Bah, I just canceled the amazon preorder and grab a an extra couple books for the family. What the hell, right. Mark you do a good job.

  2. The blue border across the top of the cover looks like it says “dairy-free”. So I would imagine most if not all are dairy-free

    1. Great, thanks! My employer blocks whatever site MDA uses for images so I could not see the cover 🙂

(Not sure why, but it looks like my original comment about dairy was removed or something – which is what I suppose you were responding to)

  3. I am going to take advantage of the “buy 2” offer! I just got my brother on board the PB train & can give the 3rd to another 🙂
Thanks!!! (I love the pre-printed shopping list – what a glorious idea)

  4. How come it’s cheaper on amazon. I figure removing the middle man should remove costs.

    1. I’m assuming it is because you don’t get the deal of buy 2 get one free as well as the shopping list that comes with the book if you order it from the site. The shopping list was the thing that sold me. Kudos for that.

    2. Yes, the buy 2 get 1 free puts the price per book at just $16, $2.61 less than Amazon. You’ll get it sooner, signed (if you order soon!) with free S&H and the laminated shopping list and pen, too. All-in-all I think it’s a steal, but I’m sort of biased. 😉

  5. I was thinking about purchasing the original BP cookbook but decided to get this one instead!

I can’t wait to try some of the recipes!

  6. Email about new book arrived: 12:41 PM
Email confirming preorder arrived: 12:43 PM.

Alas, I couldn’t grab my wallet and type any faster. 😉

    1. Thats about how mine went too! Got the buy 2 get 1 free deal headed my way! One for me, one for a friend and one for when I figure out who else needs one!

  7. Looking forward to it! I was told today by the people I eat with that they are always excited to see what I bring to lunch.

  8. done

    48 / 3 = 16 including shipping

    nice!

looking forward to more good eating!

  9. This will help me to transition my family into a more primal lifestyle! YAY!

  10. Done! I make so many of the recipes from the original cookbook – I can’t wait to see what this one has in store!

    1. I guarantee it won’t disappoint, JennF. My thinking is that even if only a few recipes become absolute staple meals – dishes that you eat and enjoy over and over for years – the books pays for itself many times over, and that we have dozens of just such meals in this book. Thank you (and everyone!) for your order!

  11. Oh how timely this is…. always looking for the quick and easy primal way, I literally got the post and bought the book seconds later lol!

    1. Plus Mark is right, it is expensive to have a blog like his and I want to support one of my most valuable resources!

      1. Thanks, Mary. Yes, I want to see MDA continue to thrive. I like to think I’ve found a nice to way to fund it without being too obtrusive to readers and newsletter subscribers. We’ll have a big announcement like this a few times a year, and the odd sidebar ads only promoting things that support a healthy Primal lifestyle in the modern world. Thank you for the support!

      2. ^^^Ditto!^^^

I am SO appreciative of all the awesome info I get from your site Mark and the fact that you manage to keep it free is a HUGE thing. Thanks again!

  12. Who needs 10 reasons???? The minute I saw that baby pop up on my Amazon “suggested for you” list, it was pre-ordered!

Thanks for what, I’m sure, will be another great cookbook!! I almost had a panic attack when I misplaced my original PB Cookbook!

  13. Hi Mark,

Do us UK PB’ers still get the goodies as well if we order or are you only shipping to the US?

    Sarah x

    1. This offer is good for PBers anywhere in the world. The only caveat is that free S&H is for domestic orders only.

      1. Thanks Mark.

        Ordered 🙂

I hope you have a speedy carrier across the ocean as I can’t wait!

        Sarah x

      2. Thanks Mark.

I started to order this as soon as the email arrived (was day time here in New Zealand), but canceled it when I got to the section asking me to select shipping handler as there was only the domestic option. I take it there’s an option later in the process for overseas orders, that I didn’t get to?..

I’ll place my order now and take advantage of the great buy 2 get1 free do deal, but I’m gutted that I missed out on a signed copy now 🙁

    1. We sized the shopping list to fit inside the book (just a hair smaller than book page size), so it serves the dual purpose of a bookmark.

      1. whenever i read you sized the shopping list to the pages i was like :O!!! haha totally made my day

    2. I’ve been using yellow sticky notes to mark my favorites, like the jambalaya with cauliflower Yum

  14. Thanks Mark! Hope I got in early enough to get the signed copy. Appreciate all your hard work on the site. Without it, I would have to find something else to do with two hours of my day!

  15. I just ordered one and just realized there was the buy 2 get 3rd free deal. If I order the 2nd copy separately, would that still entitle to a free copy?

    1. Go to the website and add 1 book to your shopping cart. Since you already purchased one it may populate the shopping cart with one paid book and one free book. If the free book doesn’t show up just give us a call at 888-774-6259 and we’ll help you out.

      1. Hello Mark,

I received 2 copies of the book and I love the recipes so far! However I still haven’t received the 3rd copy… I did call the number you provided on the day I placed the order, and gentleman I spoke with said he would take care of it. I just wanted to make sure that the 3rd copy was on its way…

        Thank you!

  16. I needed Primal Fuel also so added that to my order and now no free shipping; bummer. But, really looking forward to the book and the great recipes in there. Thanks Mark and Jennifer for creating more fun for the kitchen.

  17. Ordered two so I could get the third. I have a couple of people that I’m thinking of giving one to. Hopefully got my order in for the autographed copy.

  18. I ordered mine as soon as I got the email. Yay! I’m so excited. 🙂

  19. Canceled my Amazon order since they weren’t going to ship until sometime in June, not sure why. Anyway, thanks. I look forward to receiving the book since I am not much of a cook…

  20. Thank you very much, preordered now, this will be a nice one for sure up here in cold Sweden!

  21. If I pre-order 2 books when will I expect to receive it by? I will be away from the US for the next 6 months.

  22. Sorry. I forgot to mention that I will be leaving on the 23rd of March. Will I receive the pre-orders by then if I live in San Francisco?

    1. Books won’t begin shipping until the end of next week so the 23rd would be cutting it close. Contact 888-774-6259 to discuss options.

  23. Hi Mark,

When you search the book title on amazon.ca (Canadian Amazon), you get 2 results with different book covers and ISBN numbers. What’s happening?

    stan

  24. I pre-ordered this book a few months ago on Amazon, can I still get the bonus gifts – the FREE laminated Primal Blueprint Shopping List?

  25. Finished. Ordered one for my husband and I and one for my mom and one more to keep on hand, you never know when you will need a great gift. And what could be a better gift than the gift of health.
Was I just not paying close enough attention, but when is it released?
    I can not wait!

  26. Hi, may i know what’s the difference of information between this and the original ”The Primal Blueprint Cookbook”? Do some of the recipes ‘overlap’?

    Thanks alot.

  27. Would you consider offering the shopping list as a paid item for those of us who can’t get orders in by Sunday? That’s right smack in between two paydays for me.

    1. I placed an order for a fixed amount of these shopping lists. If any remain after the special offer I’ll be selling or packaging them with other products in some way. Stay tuned!

  28. So, if we took advantage of the buy 2, get 1 free, does each copy come with its own laminated shopping list/pen? Ordered mine from pb dot com 🙂 Thanks Mark!

  29. Anybody getting an extra autographed one? I have autographed versions of the other two and wanted to complete the set. I wasn’t near a computer yesterday when I got the e-mail and the operator said I would have plenty of time! Apparently he underestimated the MDA community!

  30. Thanks Mark. I started to order this as soon as the email arrived (was day time here in New Zealand) but canceled it when I got to the section asking me to select shipping option as there was only the domestic option.

I didn’t realise that I needed to select the domestic shipping and carry on with the order and international shipping would be calculated at the end.

Anyway, I’ve placed my order now and am taking advantage of the great buy 2 get1 free do deal 🙂

but I’m gutted that I missed out on a signed copy though 🙁

  31. Excellent, I’ve ordered 3. The shipping to the UK still said £0,00, but there was a ‘handling’ charge added, so I guess that’s it?

  32. I preordered this book a few days ago and after putting in all of my information, including credit card info, it said that I would recieve an email conformation. I have not recieved that email yet, should I be concerned or are you guys just backlogged?

  33. I just read the table of contents and cannot wait to try out the complex flavor combinations the book has in store for me. Everything sounds so tasty and fun to make for a chef like myself!

    🙂

  34. I ordered the book as soon as I received the email on March 10. I still have not received the book. The website indicates that it is shipped. I wonder why it is taking so long. I live in San Diego…

  35. We should b getting it some time this week, so wooooo!!

  36. This is my first post! My wife and I received our autographed copy of the book yesterday! It’s an amazing group of recipes and the book looks fantastic! We have been Primal for almost a year now and this book will make things MUCH easier on me(the cook) :). We had the Steak with Romesco Sauce and Broccoli with Almond Dressing and then a Big-ASS salad w/o meat. AWESOME flavor and very unique. We loved it! My wife is on her way to the grocery right now to restock and get a few new things we would normally not have so I can continue to make every recipe in the book. Bravo to Mark and Jennifer and everyone else involved with the book! And on a side note: Thanks to MarksDailyApple.com. The information, guidance, recipes and of course all of the amazing stories from people who have gone through the process, make my day a little brighter and push me to be better and healthier. Thanks again!

  37. I made the Pork Cauliflower Fried Rice tonight…AWESOME! Funny story…I had my dad over for dinner and he loved it, when he asked what all was in it I went thru the list of ingredients and when I go to cauliflower, he looked puzzled and said “hum, I didn’t get any cauliflower in mine”…he really thought the cauliflower was white rice! Interesting too since I haven’t made rice for him in years!!!!

  38. Got my book today. Looks great! I’m going to take the offal plunge and start with chicken livers.

  39. Got my book today…don’t see the shopping list (though I did get the dry-erase pen). How big is the shopping list? 8.5 x 11?

  40. The shopping list was inside the book when I received it.

I’m still waiting on my 3rd copy… I’ve placed 2 orders but I haven’t received my 3rd copy yet. I emailed about a week ago but no response so far.

  41. Hi Mark! Thanks for writing this book, its been fun and delicious to experiment with.

One question for you, if you have the time…

I know these dishes are all supposed to be Primally Approved. But the Cinnamon Walnut Crackers have 19 polyunsaturated grams of fat, and in the Primal Blueprint you say “strictly avoid PUFAs”. Please shed some light!

    Thanks for everything 🙂
