Views expressed on this website are just that – views. Opinions and information presented on this site are not intended to replace the advice of your primary health care provider. Please enjoy responsibly!
The views expressed on this site are my opinions. My words or any contributions from my staff should not be taken as a substitute for qualified medical expertise.
While I’m a “health guy” with a biology degree and many years of fitness, health and nutrition experience to my credit, my views are just that – my views. I hope you’ll find the blog to be helpful, challenging, engaging and compelling.

Declaration of bias: I own a successful nutritional supplement company, PrimalBlueprint.com, which I founded in 1996, and I am very much in favor of prudent supplementation. (My line is small. No endless array of worthless herbal products and weight-loss gimmicks). I also own Primal Kitchen, a food company that creates primal, paleo, keto-friendly and Whole30-Approved products that are 100% FREE of gluten, grains, soy, dairy, GMO’s and refined sugar. I earn a living from the sales of the products advertised on these websites.
Affiliate link disclosure: I use affiliate links on Mark’s Daily Apple. This means that in some cases when I link to Amazon.com or some other online retailer I get a commission for referred sales. Meaning, if you click one of these affiliate links and make a purchase the retailer gives me a cut of it. For what it’s worth, I never write articles and insert affiliate links for the sole reason of earning a commission. If I link to an online retailer it’s because I legitimately believe their product can benefit readers. And if I earn a few buck in the process all the better. Earned commissions go toward supporting this site. So, while not all outbound product links are affiliate links go ahead and assume that they are.
Pictures, images, graphics, and whatnot: All graphics and images are property of Mark’s Daily Apple unless otherwise noted. We always try to give credit where credit is due (thanks to all our Flickr pals!). If you find a picture on our site and you’d rather it not be here (because you own it, not because you think it’s ugly), just let us know and we’ll be happy to do a switcheroo.
Comment Board Policy
1. Imagine you’re George Clooney. Take a moment to admire your grooming and wit. Okay, now imagine someone walks up to you and asks, “What’s your name?” You say, “I’m George Clooney.” Or maybe you say, “I’m the Clooninator!” You don’t say “I’m George of George Clooney Sells Movies Blog” and you certainly don’t say, “I’m Clooney Weight Loss Plan”. So while spam is technically meat, it ain’t anywhere near Primal. Please nickname yourself something your friends would call you.
2. I reserve the right to edit and delete any comments for any reason.
3. Please play nice. I’m all for a good, heated debate, but if you resort to ad hominem attacks or profanity you will be deleted and banned.
4. I do my best to answer any and all comments and emails from readers, but the site and Primal Blueprint movement has grown to the point where this isn’t a practical possibility. Keep sending me your questions but know that if the blog post is more than 30 days old I probably won’t be answering any new comment questions.
