Frankly, it’s a mess. Spending a period of time, away from distractions and outside influence in order to focus, think deeply, and crystallize one’s ideas followed by getting those ideas out in the world is how real progress is made. Breakthroughs don’t happen through groupthink or committees. I could go on, but basically, you are suggesting a false choice.“
