Good morning, everybody. A Weekly Link Love it coming right up, but first I’ve got something to share….

I’ve always been in support of the greatest health with the least amount of pain, suffering and sacrifice. Living well—and eating well—should be as simple as possible. That was the reason behind the first Primal Kitchen® products I created: I wanted to make good Primal eating easier for everyday people with busy lives. It’s the same mission that moves me today in developing healthy sauces, condiments, dressings, bars and more. And today I’m thrilled to share the latest additions I’ve made to the Primal Kitchen collection—the Pasta Sauces. And, of course, I’m celebrating the occasion with a giveaway….

Over the last couple years I’ve had a number of readers write in or comment on the boards that they wanted pasta sauces—a Primal version of the family-friendly staple. And, well, I listened.

In fact, I created five delicious flavors in response: Tomato Basil Marinara Sauce, Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce, No-Dairy Alfredo Sauce, No-Dairy Garlic Alfredo Sauce, and No-Dairy Vodka Sauce. Serve ’em up over spaghetti squash, zoodles, or a Primal-style chicken parmigiana. The options are endless for quick weekday meals or more indulgent recipes.

And to celebrate today, I’m giving away 10 Pasta Sauce Collections—all 5 flavors to 10 winners. One collection with go to a random commenter on this blog post.

For more chances to win, head on over to the Mark’s Daily Apple and Primal Blueprint Instagram accounts. Just 1) follow @marksdailyapple and @primalblueprint 2) tag a friend, and 3) comment on one of the sauce giveaway posts about which flavor you look forward to the trying the most. Giveaway will close 9/11/19. My team will email the blog winner and direct message Instagram winners.

Enjoy, everyone, and let me know which flavor is your favorite!

  1. Exciting news! I am so excited to try these, especially the tomato basil sauce!

  2. Hey Mark,

When will these sauces be available in grocery stores? I can’t wait to buy them!! I love all of your other Primal Kitchen condiments and a lot of my relatives do too!! I could literally eat the Primal Kitchen ketchup by itself haha!

    Emily

    1. Have you tried the bbq sauce? It’s really good as well. Carolina vinegar type and excellent! I prefer my ketchup sweeter, but with Monk Fruit I was thinking of trying to sweeten it a little bit.

      1. I haven’t tried the bbq sauce yet but I’m planning on it! ?

  3. Amazing idea, and hopefully competitive with normal store sauce prices since it’s basically ‘less sugar.’ But “pasta sauce?” I know there’s ways of making faux pasta, but it’s almost exclusively made with grains (or rice, legumes). Will they be on shelves soon? Look forward to trying them!

  4. I am coveting all of these sauces. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

  5. Mayonnaise..dressings…ketchup…coaching program..now sauces…you’re running out of ideas to take my money Mark.

But you might not need anything else once I try that garlic alfredo sauce..

  6. Fledgling Primal person here…all the flavors sound delicious but hello Alfredo sauce! I have tried the dressings and loved them but now I need to try to sauces! Thanks for all the inspiration.

  7. I have to admit, I’m going to miss the soybean and/or canola oil (said no person ever).

  8. Oh man, so excited about that alfredo sauce! It’s one of the few things we haven’t been able to replace since my body decided 40 was old enough to be weaned and stopped making lactase. Can’t wait to try it!

  9. I would love to try the no dairy Alfredo sauce.
I love the ranch dressing, and the mayo with avo oil. Yummy

  10. Hey Mark, any chance your products will start showing up at Commissaries on military installations?

  11. Woohoo! Cant wait to try these! Perfect timing as I get back on the primal bandwagon….

  12. I just got a Spiralizer and am learning how to use it!

  13. OK Mr. Mark, I have followed you since about 2012 and you are really on the “Mark” on so many health issues. I have GREAT difficulty with any kind of tomato sauces. 🙁 I am cautiously eager about your “line up” of these sauces. I hope these prove helpful for me. 🙂

  14. I won’t say no to some fancy pasta sauce to support my paleo lifestyle, yo.

  15. Best news ever! I cannot wait to try them. Food you can feel good about.

  16. Love this!!! Can’t wait to try them all but definitely looking forward to the garlic Alfredo!!! Yum!

  17. I am most excited about the alfredo sauce. I’ve tried making substitutions with cashews and nutritional yeast, which works very well but is just kind of a pain.

  18. I just now saw this post after being out of it from having surgery on Friday. Going through a surgical procedure reminds me of how lucky I am to have my body and to be able to nourish it in a way that will allow it to flourish. These sauces would be delicious on my spaghetti squash, zoodles, or meatza. Congrats on the new additions to your product line!

  19. I have to say that I am looking forward to trying these sauces, whether I win or not.

  20. Pasta sauces! Yay! I am excited that your product line continues to expand and then I continue to have more and more no-brained products to choose from. Thank you!
