Have You Joined the Keto Reset Facebook Group?

Group of Business Hands Holding Speech BubbleI’ve got more coming this morning, but I wanted to make sure folks knew about the private (and totally free) Facebook group I have going devoted to keto living. It’s taking off in big ways, and I don’t want you to miss this discussion!

My vision with the Keto Reset book and the Facebook community is to guide you through an evidence-based approach to keto, one that focuses on achieving maximum health, fitness, and longevity by combining a ketogenic eating pattern with the Primal lifestyle practices I have written about for years on Mark’s Daily Apple and in The Primal Blueprint.

Being fat- and keto-adapted (meaning you can efficiently burn fat and ketones for energy) is humans’ default factory setting, freeing you from carbohydrate dependency and the negative health effects that come with it. If you’re looking for an active online support community and expert guidance on how to harness the power of the ketogenic lifestyle without any dogma, gimmicks, or “bro-science,” join us on Facebook, and be part of the Primal quest to #liveawesome!

  1. I have not joined the group because I refuse to use–or be USED by, as Richard Stallman says–Facebook.

Facebook is a massive spying platform which is shown to reduce happiness, and we can add that Mark Suckerberg is a total creep with a seriously punchable face.

    1. I don’t use Facebook either, for a variety of reasons, including one or two that you mention, although I suspect many FB diehards were unhappy people to begin with. Regarding the ketogenic diet, I tried it years ago and decided it wasn’t for me. I do just fine on a more moderate approach–80/20 to 90/10 Primal with daily overnight IF (from dinner until lunchtime). However, judging from some of the comments I’ve read, Mark’s Keto Reset Diet will provide some badly needed guidance.. .

  2. The image is confusing. It’s the “Keto Reset” Facebook group. There’s no “Keto Reset Diet” Facebook group. I have to search by name, as I can’t follow links to Facebook. I’m probably not the only one in that situation.

    1. Ion, thanks for your note. Yes, if you search for “Keto Reset,” that’s the name of the group itself. As for following Facebook links, it works if you’re logged into you FB account (assuming you’re on a laptop). Depending on your phone, it may not always transfer from the link on mobile unfortunately — or it asks you to then log in.

  3. Will have to pass on this one
I deleted my Facebook and LinkedIn accounts long time ago (after having them disabled for another long time)

    1. Cassandra, it’s showing up for me just now. Might have been a Facebook blip. Let us know if you continue to have issues accessing the group.

      1. This is what I’m seeing…”This content is currently unavailable
The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page.
Return home” I don’t understand it…I was on it just this morning!
