Contest Poll: 2013 Primal Blueprint Workout Videos

Contest PollIt?s time for you to decide another winner! At the start of this 21-Day Challenge I put out a call for Primal Blueprint Workout Videos. And you responded with 9 top-notch clips. Boiling the submissions down to the top videos for this poll was no easy task. My crew and I discussed at length what made up a good fitness video. Was it fun and entertaining? Was the workout something we can see ourselves doing? Did it inspire and keep us watching? How well did it represent Primal Blueprint Fitness? On and on. In the end we held a blind vote and ended up with the following three picks. To everyone that didn?t make the cut, many, many thanks for taking the time to put together an amazing contribution to this year?s 21-Day Challenge. Honorable mentions go out to each and every one of you.

Before the vote, a recap of what?s at stake:

The Prize:

This year’s prize package includes an Ultimate Sandbag, a Praxis, a 30 foot 1.5? manila undulation rope from Cal Ropes, two exercise mats from Square 36, three RadRollers, and a Platinum Package. The retail value on all this is, I don?t know, a lot.

Watch the finalist videos below and then make your vote count. This poll will close and a winner will be announced at 4 pm PDT, Thursday, October 3.

UPDATE: This poll is closed, and the winner is Nacho Rubio’s The P.U.R.E.E. workout video. Congrats, Nacho, and thanks to everyone for voting!

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. Very … interesting approaches to workout videos, that’s for sure.

  2. Love the GrokStar video!! Great job done by all the entries.
    I want a Grokstar apron 🙂

  3. “to the ladies on my right…” bahahaha. love the whole concept. very entertaining and I could throw down right now if I wanted to. bravo!

  4. Grok star is cool. Los Flintstones are cute. But, I have to give it to my man Nacho! Hilarious!

  5. I liked all three of the videos, but the PUREE one made me laugh out loud. Love it! Made me exhausted just watching:)

  6. Thanks to everyone, a lot of work must have gone into those. I enjoyed all three, but Grokstar is my favourite

  7. Hands down, Grokstar is the winner for me! And is the girl in the video the one who made the London Broil? That one also got my vote! 🙂

  8. Brilliant all three – Pebbles is just too cute when she gets her hands dirty doing burpees! Nacho got my vote, great video, so funny and I felt his pain when the exercise stopped!

  9. I LOVE the LOS FLINTSTONES!!! Fred, Wilma and Peebles..great idea and I just want to squeeze little Peebles! She’s such a little doll!

  10. Am I the only one that noticed that two of these videos don’t actually have workouts that anyone could actually do? Luckily Nacho came through with a good one. Thanks Nacho, you got my vote!

  11. Los Flintstones, You got my vote! That one is so cute! Love the baby involvement!

  12. Nacho’s is the better and most original. The other two are nice, but rap and Flinstones are to easy to use. I love the Little Lemon Tree really to much, but Nacho don’t let it go free. A pity.

  13. At first, Grokstar made me cringe a little, but it actually grew on me quite a bit. It simply wasn’t a workout video though. If it were in a category called Primal Blueprint promo video, it should win easily. But the category here is primal workout videos. Los Flinstones was cute, but not a practical workout. Plus, I’m not crazy about linking the Flinstones to primal because we have a hard enough time being taken seriously by people stuck in conventional wisdom land, and being associated with a cartoon character isn’t going to help. That leaves Nacho’s video. Fortunately, it was really good and was an actual workout video. So Nacho got my vote.

  14. Even less of what I’d like to see in a Primal Blueprint Workout Video than last year. The people who produced these obviously worked hard, and I don’t begrudge their creativity. But I’m not even voting this year. In the past I was able to go out and do the workout on the video. My favorite remains the one from a few years ago with the guy with the sledge hammer and two little sisters and a friend.

  15. Good videos! But Nacho’s P.U.R.E.E is the only video with a real Workout, good job, you have my vote!

  16. El P.U.R.E.E.,, lo mejor con mucha diferencia. He hecho abdominales solo de verlo. Animo primo, que te llevas el premio.

  17. Great job, all three! Love your creativity, and thanks for your contributions. Based upon the theme of a primal workout, I voted for PUREE, although the Flintstones show how families can have fun together while also getting exercise.

  18. Congratulations, Nacho!! Nice job on the video. Thank you Mark and Bees for hosting this contest and for everything you do.

Thanks to each and everyone of you, especially to the ones who voted for me.
Congratulations to the amazing GrokStar, (the third year competing!) to the funniest and cutest Los Flinstones (enhorabuena, Robert!) and of course to everyone who submitted a video, I know the great amount of work it requires…
And of course, thanks to Mark and the work bees for this great challenge, and for everything they share here to make us healthier and happier!

  20. My first comment is awaiting moderation so I think it’s fine to say it again and combine it with what was going to be my second comment. Whew!

Congratulations, Nacho!! Really nice job on the video. Once again it’s been a pleasure competing against you.

A big thank you to Mark and the Bees! (band name anyone?) Thank you for everything you do.

To all the others who entered this and the other contests – good job! It takes a lot to put yourself out there and Nacho’s right, it takes a lot of work. Round of applause for everyone. Kudos.

    1. I’m really enjoyed your video. Pebbles and I have been jamming out to it.
      Los Flintstones

    2. Gilly,

I really enjoyed your GrokStar video. What city was the video shot in?

  21. Awesome videos, congrats to the winners!

I’m also glad to see people incorporate some personality into these types of videos. What’s the point of making a video if you don’t have fun with it?

  22. I guess I could have written this in one reply instead of three, Los Flintstones are still figuring out this technology stuff.

We are relatively new to this primal living stuff and it was really cool to get the response we did from our video. Thank you to all of the people who voted and posted your kind comments about our little tribe.

To Nacho and Gilly and the other competitors, we had fun watching your videos. The creativity of all the entries was impressive. I look forward to next years competition.

To Mark and the Worker Bees, thank you for putting out such amazing material. It has been life altering.

There is only one thing left to say…….Yabba Dabba Doo!!!!!!
