Announcing Two New Comprehensive Online Multimedia Courses! (And a Giveaway)

Inline_AnnouncementAs you know from the popularity of the Primal Health Coach program and the 2017 launch of the Primal Endurance Online Mastery Course, we have made a sincere commitment to extend our educational offerings into online, self-study content that you can enjoy at your own pace from the comfort of your home. Today I’m announcing two fabulous new courses that will take your healthy living goals to the next level in 2018:

The Keto Reset Mastery CourseWe bring the New York Times bestselling book to life with over 100 videos, along with extensive audio and print programming—the most comprehensive online course on all aspects of ketogenic diet and lifestyle ever developed.

Paleo Cooking Bootcamp: A step-by-step meal preparation course that allows you to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for an entire week in a single, highly focused two-hour power cooking session. Four sessions make for a month-long bootcamp.

Following are some details about the courses, including fabulous promo videos, comprehensive websites, offers for free sneak previews, and a one-time bonus offer for Primal Kitchen products with incredible savings. When you enroll in these courses, you receive immediate login instructions to your student portal, filled with downloadable or streaming videos, audio programming, and pdf books and written resources. You can proceed through these courses at your own pace on desktop, pad, or mobile device.

The Keto Reset Mastery Course

The Mastery Course is filled with the most comprehensive keto-related educational material you can get anywhere: 100+ videos, many hours of audio programming, and several eBooks—including The Keto Reset Diet Glyph Notes (like Clif Notes, an executive summary of the book content). You’ll also receive individualized support from our expert staff via email, and group support with our thriving Keto Reset Facebook Group.

The enrollment fee is a very reasonable $147, as the curriculum has been compared to a year-long upper division course in the health sciences. The Keto Reset Mastery Course gives you all the support you need to attain the ultimate goal of metabolic flexibility—the ability to burn a variety of fuel sources at any particular time to meet your body’s needs, with the emphasis on efficiently burning stored body fat and ketones.

As detailed in the book and in other posts, The Keto Reset Mastery Course takes a measured, methodical approach to go keto the right way, as opposed to the increasingly common shortcut approach that brings a high risk of failure and backsliding. The fad status of keto has confused people into thinking that it’s all about a sudden and severe restriction of carbs for quick weight loss, or stuffing your face with fat in order to generate high values on blood or breath testing. This is a distortion of the big picture goal of metabolic flexibility—becoming expert at burning a variety of fuels, especially stored body fat and ketones as needed.

The Keto Reset Mastery Course emphasizes a sensible, intuitive approach where you never struggle or suffer in the name of keto, and one where you still get to enjoy your life along the way. Yes, the first part of your journey entails a disciplined elimination of the big-three most offensive modern foods—grains, sugars, and refined vegetable oils, and a 100 percent commitment is necessary. Later, when fully-prepared, you will engage in a focused, six-week period of nutritional ketosis. This can take some extra effort and attention even for the most hard core Primal eaters. However, when you complete the entire Keto Reset journey as presented, you will enjoy metabolic flexibility benefits that will last for years to come—even if you decide over the long run to eat more carbs than is warranted for keto.

If you’re interested in keto and want to do things the right way, with maximum support and guidance, or if you aren’t quite sure about keto and want to get full exposure before proceeding, enrolling in the Mastery Course will give you everything you need to succeed. The book is great, but the Mastery Course offers the most impactful educational experience imaginable.

Paleo Cooking Bootcamp

This innovative online course is inspired by creator Katie French’s live class that she presented in the San Francisco Bay Area, where it won the prestigious “Best of SF” designation by San Francisco Magazine.

640_PaleoBootcampDigitalPackageAt the original Paleo Cooking Bootcamp, Katie’s students would gather at cooking stations in a commercial kitchen, follow Katie’s tightly organized prep and cooking sequences for two hours, and then drive away each weekend with tupperwares filled with delicious entrees, snacks and treats to eat in style during another hectic week.

Katie has now brought her intentional cooking method into digital format so you can join her and the featured students in the course—real-life busy moms and career folks trying to up their game in the kitchen—every step of the way.

First, you’ll get a precise grocery list for each week’s Bootcamp session, along with extensive written supporting materials to help you better navigate the videos. Then, you’ll follow along in real time through the recipe preparation videos. Even if you’re a cooking novice, you can jump right in and build the skills and efficiency to quickly increase your confidence and enjoyment with meal preparation.

The complete Bootcamp program consists of four weekend cooking sessions (each lasting two hours), that enable you to eat delicious, paleo-approved meals for an entire month. This is a fantastic way to build momentum for a major dietary transition, or enjoy delicious meals without having to worry about shopping and preparing from scratch every time. Anyone will admit that a two-hour time investment on the weekend is worth the bounty it delivers to ease your everyday meal preparation stress and improve your adherence to healthy eating goals, but making it happen requires a precise, intentional approach where no time is wasted. Paleo Cooking Bootcamp takes the guesswork out of the equation and let’s you go straight the fun stuff in the kitchen!

  1. Becoming a health coach as we speak! It’s only natural that another course might cover exercise or sleep.

  2. I am planning on taking the Primal Endurance mastery course when I am finished with the Primal Health Coach program, but hearing about these two courses have me very interested as well.

  3. I completed the Primal Health Coach cert last year and it truly changed the way I work with my clients.

I really respect Mark as an entrepreneur and would love to see a course on this. How to start a small business, etc? The business module of the Primal Health Coach cert was a great start but I would love even more and more in this area.

  4. I would love to do both courses, how hard would this be for someone who is hard-of-hearing? Are there transcripts of the Keto Reset Mastery course?

  5. I’m just starting the Primal coach Couse. Chapter two almost done. I study with a smile on my face.

  6. These courses sound great! I was thrilled with the Primal Health Coach course. Even though I have been immersed in this lifestyle for many years, I loved learning more of the science behind it. The content was that of an upper level college or even graduate course. Online learning is such a great option for busy people.

  7. Maybe this has been covered before but I know that for me personally a lot of my stress, fear and anxiety which is itself unhealthy -and leads me into unhealthy behavior -is the result of me not confronting a problem in my life. Sometimes the problem is overt and I am simply putting it off but sometimes it is more subtle and I am not even entirely conscious of what the problem is.

I’d be interested to see some courses or articles on methods to discover and work with the inner problems which can so often go unnoticed yet are the root of much of our outer problems. I am thinking of dream analysis (possibly lucid dreaming), meditation, psychedelics (though you have mentioned them before), etc.

The outer is important and undoubtedly plays a role in shaping our inner worlds, but a lot of the time it operates in the reverse direction as well. I think the inner gets ignored frequently because it isn’t very marketable but would like to see it implemented more deeply into coaching programs.

  8. Planning to take the Primal Health Coach certification this year! It’d be great to have a short course that helps you teach others why sugar & grains are bad for you. For the “armchair nutritionists” or primal enthusiasts, it would be great to be able to tell friends, family, or interested strangers why you believe sugars or grains are bad without just anecdotal/n=1 evidence.

  9. Something that I’ve been considering for a potential career change is the Health Coaching course. I love reading about all of the info that Mark provides on a daily basis and I really want to be able to share what I’ve learned, but in a more meaningful and scientific manner.

  10. They are all on my list of things to do once the kids grow up a tiny little bit more. I cant wait to start learning!

  11. I would want to take the Pale Cooking Bootcamp course.

  12. How do I choose!? They would both be incredible. Paleo Cooking Bootcamp would probably be a great one to start with because I’m sure I’d pick up awesome tips that would carry over into going keto. Definitely going on the wishlist!

  13. My plan is to take the Primal Health Coach course this year as soon as I can get some unexpected medical bills paid. Crossing my fingers for a June 2018 start!

  14. I’m planning to take the Primal Health Coach course in the future!

  15. Oh wow. I graduate from university in five months. When I do, I plan to take the Primal Health Coach program, Keto Reset Mastery course, and potentially Primal Endurance mastery although I’ve already read the book.

I think a functional strength training course integrated with primal would be ideal but that’s asking for way too much. Training for vertical jump is highly complicated and the info is basically out there already, one just has to integrate it with primal lifestyle oneself.

  16. I’ve been aware of the principles of Primal Lifestyle for years, but just now putting them into practice. I’m only a couple of years from retirement, so I’m wondering if I really could put my passion for health into a retirement business. i’d have to start with something basic, like a course where I could learn and that I could build on. I’m looking for the thing that I can love doing and stay excited about every day. Is that thinking too big? I’ve failed at working for myself before!

    1. “Is that thinking too big?”

      No such thing.

“I’ve failed at working for myself before!”

As has almost every successful entrepreneur. You probably learned some lessons from those attempts, think of them as learning steps. 🙂

  17. I would like to see a Primal Movement Course or Primal Lifestyle Course.

  18. I would love to take both – boot camp is for me as a first choice.

  19. I haven’t looked at the price of the cooking course yet, but I’m interested in that one!

I second the idea of a sleep course.

It would be nice if these courses gave you college credits if they don’t already, and it would also be awesome if military Tuition Assistance or G.I. Bill benefits (specifically the certification allotment) could apply to these courses.

  20. After recent health issues which I am working through, I think both of these courses would help me immensely

  21. These videos look amazing. I’m finally to a point in my life where I can SLOW DOWN and really study in depth how to change my eating permanently. I would love to purchase the Keto video mastery course. I already own the book so I would give it to someone who is starting their journey through keto.

  22. I’m not an official health coach, but as a Physician Assistant it is part of my duties. I’ll be doing the Keto course for sure but thinking I may do both, as the meal prep will be better than my current. In the future I may take the health coach course as well, to increase my skills in the coaching of my patients.

  23. Paleo Bootcamp sounds good. Love the concept of planning out meals.

  24. How about a primal fitness boot camp? Or an outdoor skills program?

  25. Think I might just try that Keto course. Sounds interesting!

  26. I am excited for both courses! Knowing what to cook is such a challenge for me. I think my family would like some new, healthy meals too!

  27. I’m needing advanced Keto skills. I’ve been Keto for 3 months and haven’t lost a pound, likely something off with my damaged metabolism.

    1. Check your diet carefully. If you’re certain you are doing everything right, it could just be that your body is going to take a little longer to start dropping weight. Buy some keto sticks and check your urine every morning to see if you are actually in ketosis. Even if you aren’t, a low carb diet usually produces weight loss, although at a slower rate. Be aware that too much fat and/or protein or portions that are too large can easily stall weight loss.

Consultation with a weight loss specialist who is familiar with the keto diet might be worth the expense. They can point out whatever you might be doing wrong and help you correct it.

      1. I am In ketosis and have been for three months. I was primal for four months before that. I lost 18 pounds in the first five weeks of being primal. Then I stopped losing. And I haven’t lost weight being Ketogenic. I’m not overeating or undereating. I’m feeling fantastic, so I keep at it. I wish I had done a body fat composition test because I feel like my composition has changed tremendously without losing any weight for months.

I’m not lifting weights because of my adrenals. I had adrenal fatigue about nine years ago. It took more than two years to get over that and I don’t want to go there again. I do walk. I’m still technically obese. I don’t think Mark Sisson has Keto figured out for women. I notice he often treats us like an afterthought even though we are half the population at least. I was reading an article in Paleo magazine about what can be going wrong on a keto diet. The tenth thing he listed was being a woman. I’ve listened to him on so many podcasts where. he’s being interviewed and I don’t think he’s got women figured out. I’ve listened to him on so many podcasts where he Sort of as an aside will mention that Keto can be different for women. Different. I can tell that in his mind, men are the default And women are like a special case. Just an observation.

I believe my metabolism/hormonal balance has been damaged by decades of chronic exercise and low-fat, high carb dieting. And now I’m perimenopausal. I think I’m doing the right things and then eventually the way up or drop off

        1. I don’t think Mark intentionally marginalizes women. It’s just that some women don’t do well on a keto diet for a variety of reasons, including the ones you’ve listed.

I still think you might benefit from the expertise of a weight loss doctor. A different type of diet/lifestyle approach might serve you better. Also, some lab work might pinpoint problem areas you aren’t even aware of.

If that isn’t an option, you might consider just taking a break from the keto diet. It might be too extreme for you at this particular time. Allow your body to correct itself at it’s own speed by going back to a healthy, moderate-carb Primal diet–which is where you did lose weight. Continue to steer clear of most grains and sweets but don’t stress out over the number of good carbs you eat. Walking is good but back off on the chronic exercise if you haven’t already done so. Meanwhile, pay attention to how you feel.

From what you’ve said, my feeling is that you’ve been putting too much added stress on your body at a time when it’s dealing with various other issues. Keep in mind that less is often more, particularly for women. .

  28. I’m thinking about the Paleo Cooking bookcamp – I’ve know for years that eating clean requires more time in the kitchen, I’d love to learn ways to improve both my time spent and the product of the results.

  29. I already enjoy meal prep … Paleo Cooking Bootcamp sounds to be just up my alley! Always ALWAYS eager and ready to jump right into the fun stuff in the kitchen!!

  30. I’d LOVE to eventually take the Primal Health Coach program, but I think the Keto Reset Mastery Course would be a great way to get my feet wet. (Paleo Bootcamp looks pretty amazing as well. If I was single, I would be all over it!)

  31. I was inspired by Mark when he was on Ben Greenfield’s podcast recently to do my own version of the Keto reset, and the only issue is, is its my version. I would love to see Mark’s version and do it the way Mark recommends. I love all of his work and research and regular come here when needing anything for health research. Both look amazing.

  32. Are the ingredients in the one-month boot camp readily available or do they include hard-to-find or expensive ingredients?

  33. Loved the new keto reset book. Enjoyed hearing Mark being interviewed on the Ben Greenfield Podcast.

  34. All the courses on MDA sound great. The Cooking Bootcamp is probably a much needed addition as it seems so many people have trouble getting it together in the kitchen (hmmm – I meant the food, not each other—)

It seems that folks are always questioning their ability to put together a good meal. Not sure how that came about with the younger set these days, but there you have it. The Paleo Cooking Bootcamp sounds just like what the “doctor” ordered!

  35. I’m new to Keto. 5 weeks in, down 30 lbs.
I did start at 50g carbs. Has actually been easier than expected even over the holidays. Lots of questions left!!
Definitely interested in the Keto Mastery course.

  36. Paleo Cooking Bootcamp is a terrific idea for anyone who is the least bit challenged in the kitchen. A Paleo diet isn’t hard to make, but you do need to know how to cook from scratch. These days so many people eat out of cans, boxes and jars and have never really learned how to cook with fresh ingredients. I’m always amazed that people consider bone broth to be such a revelation when in fact stocks and broths have been around almost forever.

  37. I am halfway through the Primal Health Coach course and can’t wait to get out there! These courses also look like great resources for the family and for helping others.

  38. The Bootcamp course looks great. Narrowing weekend prep to 2 hours makes it all sounds more doable and likely to continue for me into the future. I do sometime bemoan the long hours in the kitchen, and this sounds like a winner of a course!

  39. I’m interested in the Keto Reset course! It would be so awesome to have this while diving into the Keto way:)

  40. Thanks Mark for the amazing courses! Keep the Primal Engine going!

  41. I am currently working on the Primal Health Coach course. I plan on doing Primal Endurance and both of the new courses sound like they are right up my alley. I like that the keto course includes videos and glyph notes. The more tools the better. I think more courses like the cooking bootcamp would be great. I’m always looking for practical info in addition to the science to help incorporate primal in my daily life. Can’t wait to start!

  42. Need to with one or both of these in budget for 2018! $100 gift card would really help 🙂

  43. I am planning on becoming a Primal health coach soon. This would be a great start.

  44. Keto Reset Mastery course would be helpful as I found the book a little confusing.

  45. Looking to take the paleo cooking course to relearn how to cook and take care of my family from the inside out.

  46. *Sing to the tune of “I Want to Ride my Bicycle”*
I want to win Primal Kitchen
I want to win yum stuff
I want to win Primal Kitchen
Cuz keto reset makes you buff!

  47. I am excited to hear that you are offering courses like this online. I enjoy listening to podcasts and pick up gems of info but taking a course will help me understand the material even more. Thank you!!

  48. I’m planning on becoming a PHC also and these courses would just help augment the keto WOL.

  49. I’m a PHC and I did the Primal Endurance Mastery Course (highly recommended if you haven’t already done it, any of my fellow commenters). I’d love to see a course on all things MEAT — different types, how to cook, where they come from on an animal, all that stuff. I was vegan for 35 years before becoming Primal and I never learned anything. . .

  50. I have the Keto Reset Book, it is outstanding! Great to see you have put together a site to support the Book at it’s followers!
