Meet Mark

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mark Sisson. I’m 63 years young. I live and work in Malibu, California. In a past life I was a professional marathoner and triathlete. Now my life goal is to help 100 million people get healthy. I started this blog in 2006 to empower people to take full responsibility for their own health and enjoyment of life by investigating, discussing, and critically rethinking everything we’ve assumed to be true about health and wellness...

A “Don’t Miss” FREE Documentary: The Real Skinny On Fat

On July 17th, you’ll be able to watch (at no cost to you) an extensive interview documentary that I’d highly recommend—that is, if you’re interested in learning about keto for weight loss, performance, and disease treatment; about fasting, autophagy, and (healthy) fat intake for chronic disease prevention and treatment; and about targeted, manageable fitness for anyone who’s interested in improving their health. I was happy to participate in the documentary and now share it with you as an affiliate supporter of its essential message for health.

It’s called The Real Skinny On Fat, and you’ll hear from me as well as Dr. Cate Shanahan, Dr. Jason Fung, Kathy Smith, Dr. Kellyann Petrucci, Dr. Frank Lipman, Nina Teicholz, as well as a dozen experts and physicians (from cardiologists to neurologists)—talk about the massively skewed medical perspective that has become one of the root contributors to modern illness, including diabetes and cancer.

Learn how to “flip the switch” on your own cellular regeneration. Learn how to amplify your body’s natural detoxification defenses. Learn about medical breakthroughs in cancer and Alzheimer’s. Learn about alternative methods of fasting that provide the core physiological benefits—without feeling deprived. And much, much more, I promise you.

On July 17th, this documentary is entirely free for anyone to watch. So, be sure to sign up—and pass along to friends and family members.

Watch this short but powerful video right now and get the whole story.

And let me know what you think.

It’s Success Story Friday of course, so be sure to check back. Thanks for stopping in, everybody.

  1. Sorry but form the previews and the bios of the people involved this looks really lame and amateurish.
Almost as bad as “What the health”!

I hope the actual “movie” is better but I’m not holding my breath.

      1. Hi Bob could you maybe direct me to a link to watch the series? I looked on Youtube but could only find episode 1, which I watched already.

  2. Thanks, Mark for sharing this latest research and health news on your blog. It keeps updated the readers. The recently found Type 3 diabetes is really a life-threatening disease. Once again thanks for sharing such helping video along with the post that briefly describes the Type 3 diabetes.

  3. The opt in link isn’t working for me. I’d like to join but not sure how!

  4. I signed up, watched the first free episode, starte the second episode and then I was told it was not a trusted site so I am not able to finish watching.

    1. Pattie, thanks for you note. A few others noted similar issues, and I’ve forwarded all of these to the series’ managing staff. Best – M

  5. Hi, Mark. Since you’re promoting this and you’ve attached your name to it (and also because I was really looking forward to seeing this… been keto for awhile now), just wanted you to know that http://www.therealskinnyonfat.com doesn’t seem to exist anymore, the facebook page is neglected and nobody responds to concerns/questions (apparently even people who have paid to own the series have never received the product), and even though I was able to watch the first installment (worth anyone’s time) now every time I try to access the link sent to me for the second episode I get a ‘privacy’ error (“not a trusted site”) and am denied access. I’ve emailed (as have my friends) support@therealskinnyonfat.com and have received no response/help. As much as I believe in the mission, and have extensive experience with web-based summits/learning, this all seems very sketchy and troubling. If you weren’t personally involved and promoting it, I’d honestly advise people to stay away from this. If there is any way to address these concerns, I’d sure appreciate it. Thanks for all the work you do to improve the state of health and well-being everywhere.

    1. Caritas, thanks for your note. I’m sorry you’ve had difficulties with accessing the program and receiving support. A few other readers shared the same today. I’ve forwarded all concerns to the series’ managing staff. Best – M

    2. I can’t reach their customer service either and it’s a really badly packaged product. The website is gone and the Facebook page is not managed and the customer service appears to be done by an Outsource company.

  6. Hi I would like to inform you that my access via Google to this series you recommend has been unequivocally blocked, after I registered to watch and managed to watch episode 1. I am watching from Netherlands.
I have searched for the RSOF website, and receive a 404 Error message. Even the link to my past viewing has also been removed overnight.

  7. Hey folks, apparently there was a technical issue that impacted the site last night, but the series’ IT team says everything has been restored. Wanted to pass that on. Thanks again for bringing the problems to our attention. Best – M

  8. Sorry I missed the series. Thought the info would always be available.

  9. I thought it and I’ve been very disappointed with the product. The DVD cases broken and the DVDs are scratched and the customer service won’t do anything about. The book that accompanies it is poorly formatted and literally looks like they downloaded transcripts and just slapped it on 2 pages. The cookbook has things in it. There’s no way I would ever make.
Overall I think this is a very bad product and I apologize for reviewing it on your site but I can’t find any other way of giving my feedback on this.
