UPDATE: This Brain Teaser has been solved by reader Rayden. To solve the puzzle you first had to recognize that each of the 14 passages below shared a single word. That is, one and only one word appears in each of the following 14 stanzas. That word is “people”. A few of you recognized this early on. But what’s significant about the word “people”? Not much, really, except for the position of the word “people” in each stanza. For example, “people” is the 20th word in the first paragraph, the 18th word in the second, the 1st in the third, and so forth. List all these and you have: 20, 18, 1, 14, 19, 6, 15, 18, 13, 1, 20, 9, 15, 14. So how does one decode these numbers? I told you that the answer is a single word, so the final jump you had to make is to recognize that each of these numbers represent a letter in the alphabet, where A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, etc. Spell it out and you have “Transformation”, a nod to a new book I’ve written that is hot off the printing press and will be officially released on October 18.     • Look at the tolerance level for your favorite nut and do the math. Mine are walnuts, as per the chart, walnuts have a phytic acid level of 982, so to be safe, I should limit my consumption to no more than 40 gr per day. 400(limit)/982 = .40. 100gr(test weight)x.40= 40. I’m safe consuming only about 25gr per day.

  21. I’m not sure what I think of the caveman TV show thing. On one hand, any promotion of this way of eating is probably a good thing, but on the other hand it kind of makes paleo seem more like a fad diet rather than a legitimate lifestyle.

    I prefer “nonspecific ancient homo sapiens lifestyle modelling but only the useful parts supported by established evidence and ongoing dietary,health, anthropological , evolutionary and or scientifically valid research ” diet.

    It’s definitely awesome. It can adjust to many different heights and be used for pull ups, pull up progressions, and even push-up progressions. I take ballet classes, and if I set it up waist-high it makes a great improv ballet barre too.
