Meet Mark

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mark Sisson. I’m 63 years young. I live and work in Malibu, California. In a past life I was a professional marathoner and triathlete. Now my life goal is to help 100 million people get healthy. I started this blog in 2006 to empower people to take full responsibility for their own health and enjoyment of life by investigating, discussing, and critically rethinking everything we’ve assumed to be true about health and wellness...

OT: Celebrity (well, in Sweden at least!) Sisson fan alert!

At Swedish Low-Carb site, three-time Ultraman champion Jonas Colting is interviewed (in Swedish).

From the interview it appears that Colting is a pretty big fan of Mark’s. He plugs Mark’s stuff several times in the course of the interview, on multiple topics (diet, exercise).

As can be gleaned from Colting’s body, that’s pretty high fitness praise 😉

Stopped using shampoo a while ago in an effort to “reduce my chemical load”. I use a bar of natural coconut soap now and it work better than shapoo ever did.
