I knew there was a reason I baked cookies this weekend (The potluck after church doesn't count - the girls worth impressing weren't able to make it).

Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of the cookies I have left. I wouldn't mind eating them, but I need to recover from all the carbs I ate yesterday. Grok might get a high carb day once in a while so I figure I'm safe with one day, but I need to eat primal for a few days to recover.

Great links (as usual). I loved the lifting people video!

As for writing with your opposite hand to strengthen your brain, when I do crossword puzzles and get stuck on a word I switch the pen to my other hand and more often than not the answer will come to me (but not immediately). I read a few years ago that it was a good way to engage the opposite side of your brain (right hand, left side of brain, left hand, right side of brain).

As for the toilet seat that weighs you, I guess it is just another indication of our obsession with scale weight, vs. what is causing us to be weigh more in the first place. I doubt your body fat percentage changes any from before and after you've done your business.
