Top 10 Ways the New MDA is Going to Help You Succeed

SuccessMark’s Daily Apple is your road map to success. Here are the top 10 ways (yes, there are more than 10!) Mark’s Daily Apple is going to help you succeed in all of your health and fitness goals. Take advantage of them all and you’ll be like Grok in no time.

Daily articles

Our bread and butter (or is it “apples and almond butter”?), the daily article will remain the primary focus of the site as we encourage, inspire, and inform you with the latest scientific releases, Primal recipes, workout tips – plus, we’ll be expanding our Definitive Guide series to encompass a whole host of contentious topics.

PB 101 Page

A great resource for those just starting with the Blueprint, the PB 101 page distills all pertinent information into an organized, concise collection of article links, lists, and advice. If anyone’s got questions about your weird eating habits, just send them to the PB 101 page.

Regular Video Features

Regular original video content featuring myself, and other guests, will let you put a face (and a voice) to the name: Primal cooking demonstrations, workout guides, exercise form corrections, maybe even a How-To-Butcher video. I’m open to all ideas so let me know what you’d like to see in the comment board.

Online Forum

Connect with other Blueprinters; ask me questions; discuss recipes, workouts, nutrition, and the latest studies with likeminded individuals committed to, or skeptical of, the Primal way of living. Dissent and skepticism encouraged! Check out the forum here.

Weekly Newsletters

Free weekly newsletters packed with insider tips and original information delivered to your inbox every week. Perfect for people too busy to navigate the new site every day, but who still want to keep up to date. Also, you can now have each day’s post delivered to your inbox by entering your email address at the very bottom of the page.

Better Archives

A common complaint from readers is that our nearly 1500-article-strong archive system is difficult to navigate. The new site has a refined search feature, helpful sidebars, an improved sitemap, and organized archives, giving you instant access to the entire library of MDA material at your fingertips.

The Book!

Just released for pre-order, my new book is the definitive guide to Primal living and it will be shipping in just a few weeks. For all Primal/paleo types, it’s a must read – get Primal and Grok On!

And later this year, we’ll be adding even more features:

E-books

Now that we’ve made a successful transition to the new site, and the book’s been released, we’ll start working on e-books – supplemental material to the Primal Blueprint designed to further your knowledge and increase your results, making it even easier to live Primally and live well. Be on the lookout.

More Health Challenges

Last year, we had a very successful “Act As If” Primal Health Challenge. Tons of readers reported back with stunning results, and we plan on trying another interactive health challenge later this year (complete with contests and giveaways). Stay tuned for more information.

Primal Blueprint Fitness Column

We’re putting together a new Primal Fitness column for the new site. We plan on offering more frequent and interactive workout suggestions on a regular basis, so check back later.

All in all, I’m pretty excited. Nervous, but excited. I think we’ve made a lot of changes for the better, and I hope you guys share the same sentiment.

You want comments? We got comments:

Imagine you’re George Clooney. Take a moment to admire your grooming and wit. Okay, now imagine someone walks up to you and asks, “What’s your name?” You say, “I’m George Clooney.” Or maybe you say, “I’m the Clooninator!” You don’t say “I’m George of George Clooney Sells Movies Blog” and you certainly don’t say, “I’m Clooney Weight Loss Plan”. So while spam is technically meat, it ain’t anywhere near Primal. Please nickname yourself something your friends would call you.

  1. Looks like you got alot going on. But if anyone can pull it off…it’s the people at MDA! Look forward to all the new stuff coming.

  2. Great new look to the website, Mark! I second the recommendation for women’s cut t-shirts in addition to the unisex cut. I’ll even be bold enough to suggest a blue-green/turquoise/teal color!

    • Love the t-shirts as well but agree with the women’s cut idea. I’d love to wear it (and flaunt it!), but I tend to swim in unisex sizes.

The site looks fabulous. Can’t wait to see the other new developments.

  3. Hi Mark,

What I see on other sites are lipid test results from people who have been on a paleo diet. The benefit of health improvement of this type of lifestyle is what convinced me to change and a strong motivator to continue.

  4. I’m all for a “wife beater” type shirt (4 women). All the better to show off my newly defined deltoids, triceps & biceps.

Ann wrote on May 12th, 2009
    • i second that!

  5. Well obviously the daily posts are top notch, which is why I am so excited to be able to search for old ones better through the archives, search function and PB 101 Page. Awesome ideas and the new look is great – professionaly yet still fun (as PB and MDA are!).

  8. me like the challenges,
I feel kinda sloppy lately, totally up for some great diet or excersise challenges! :D
sometimes I just need a little bit motivation…otherwise I’d just slack off myself

  9. It appears there is a problem with the SSL certificate on the primalblueprint.com web server. Both IE 8 and FireFox 3.0.10 report the error.

MAS wrote on May 12th, 2009
    • We’re working on it, MAS. The site is secure but the unencrypted video makes the browser declare it as unauthenticated.

  10. BTW, site looks great – however – the footer still lists a (c) of 2008.

  11. Mark Just browsed the PB-101 page, what an *excellent* compilation. Like Furious Mittens, I’m also forwarding it to my contacts.

I think your page might be the best portal available to anyone interested in pursuing a Primal lifestyle, congratulations.

  13. How about….guest articles!

  14. Love the new website design. Look forward to the new features as well!

  15. New site layout is great – forums are a nice new addition – I know my wife and I have both found new and informative content that we had not previously come across in the old site.

We had previously referred friends to the site – we’ll be referring more.

  16. I have been hunting and Butchering with my father for many years, I could probably put together a little video of some kind if it would be liked.
