Hi Mark

I’m partially on primal blueprint since last 2 months. I said partial because I’m a vegetarian (except for eggs). I have already lost 9lbs and I didn’t even exercise!! Other plus points are:

I don’t feel hungry more often

My concentration is certainly improving (I’m an engineering student, so it helps a lot :P)

You WON’T believe it but I don’t FEEL sad (I guess has to do something with my eating habits!)

I’m writing to you because I started the primal lifestyle August 24, 2008 after finding your site. I started eating whole, natural foods, doing sprints and working out with weights. By December 24, 2008 I had lost 24 lbs, and my body percentage was 10.4%. My weight had decreased from 189 lbs to 165 lbs. I don’t have a body fat measurement from August, but I can tell you: I was quite a bit more than 10.4%:-). By the way I’m a 24 year old male, 5’8 tall, and I live in Denmark, Northern Europe.

These results are a byproduct of the primal eating lifestyle, which you recommend. I’ve bought some online workout books for that side of things, but the nutrition advice I’ve found on your website.

I want to thank you for helping me achieving a long time goal of mine, and for helping me to get a good health.

I was doing very well on the exercise program doing the running sprint workout you recommend in the beach video 2 – 3 times a week and then a combo weight/medicine ball workout for my core and upper body. The weight workout consisted of 3 different bicep curls, various degrees of incline bench presses, pushups, and several types of light and heavier workouts for the shoulders. The medicine ball consisted of the throw against a wall, the throw straight up, and the hard bounce straight down. I lost 10 lbs between the exercises and primal diet.

First of all – thanks. I’ve lost 25 lbs, due in large part to the Primal Blueprint. At 6′ 2″ and 48 years old, I now weigh 189 lbs.

People ask me all the time, “How did you do it?” I wish I had a little business card to give them that had some simple details that would entice them to go to your website.


Came across your blog after my father survived a heart attack about 5 months ago. I am 6 foot and clocked in at 208. My wife and I had just had our second daughter and our weight seemed to keep going up as our business increased. I was the only one willing to give your blueprint a shot and I still don’t follow it completely, but I am now 184 and my wife has dropped 15 pounds from her 5 foot frame. I know it isn’t all about weight loss, but I have had to buy pants 4 inches smaller than my previous 38 inch waist. My cariologist has been encouraging me to lose wieght as I have a “bicuspid aortic valve.” In short, it took my dad’s heart attack to get me to do some research and do something about it.

I am making this longer than it should be, but thank you so much for your blog. I read it daily and my wife and I love the recipes!

I am a Catholic speaker and while I know that we are probably more alike theologically then it would appear on the surface, the blog today on fasting caught my eye. Fasting has been a spiritual regimen in the Catholic Church for 2000 years. Sometimes abused, but I have always believed there is a spiritual aspect to hunger, eating, and resisting our desires which can often time lead us into behaviors that are damaging. I would like your permission to explore your diet and way of life from this spiritual angle and perhaps incorporate it into my talks to youth, young adults, and adults. My discovery of this has really only begun, but I wanted to get your impression on this.

Can’t wait for the book to come out! Went fairly strict Paleo Jan 1st this year (NOT a news years res) and have lost 14 lbs, feel great, lots of energy and has basically cured my IBS. Looking forward to more inspiration from your book!

Your Proloftin is the best investment I made in the past year with respect to supplements. With the economic crisis (and watching my investments dwindle to nothing!), I’ve been under a lot of stress.
