Vote Yes on Proposition Mark’s Daily Apple

Presidential primary politics is really heating up! With recruitment efforts at an all time high we’ve been inspired to jump on the bandwagon and do a little recruiting of our own. 😉

Pumping out health and nutrition information day-in day-out is a labor of love. But just like politics, without voter participation and turnout everyone loses. So we are asking you to get behind us and help us take Mark’s Daily Apple to the next level!

Why are we asking for your support?
There are a couple things at work here:

1. In order to be able to continue to bring free health advice and news to everyone we’ve got to keep traffic levels on the rise.

On a related note, and more importantly:

2. We believe we have an important message to bring to people. (And we think you think so too!)

We are here to challenge and rethink conventional health wisdom, to be a scrappy watch dog – sussing out quacks, disinformation and questionable studies – and to encourage and offer tips on how to best lead a healthy lifestyle.

If you believe we have the best health blog on the net join us in spreading the good word!

How You Can Help:
It’s easy! Show your devotion and appreciation for the free content we provide by social bookmarking any and all blog posts you find interesting.

If you found it worth reading chances are someone else will find it helpful, enlightening, or just plain entertaining as well!

By simply signing up for StumbleUpon, digg, reddit, or any of the other social bookmarking services and then giving us the ol’ thumbs up we would be forever grateful. Not only will others be introduced to information that may change their lives, but it will also enable us to continue to bring this content to you – our current devoted readers.

Oh, and tell your friends about us!

Thanks everyone! As a token of our appreciation we will be holding a contest later on today. Be sure to check back at 1 pm PST for your chance to receive a FREE bottle of Vital Omegas.

You want comments? We got comments:

Imagine you’re George Clooney. Take a moment to admire your grooming and wit. Okay, now imagine someone walks up to you and asks, “What’s your name?” You say, “I’m George Clooney.” Or maybe you say, “I’m the Clooninator!” You don’t say “I’m George of George Clooney Sells Movies Blog” and you certainly don’t say, “I’m Clooney Weight Loss Plan”. So while spam is technically meat, it ain’t anywhere near Primal. Please nickname yourself something your friends would call you.

  1. Done – your blog was added to mine!

  3. Somewhere in the 25 draft blog posts I haven’t finished and posted yet is one about youse guys. I promise to post it this week. (My blog only gets between 100 and 200 hits a day, not a ton. And I’m sure some of them get there erroneously. And I’m sure some of the others already read MDA. But hey, if it brings you a half dozen readers, I’m happy to do it.)

P.S. Sorry I missed the Fruity Cheerios contest, but I would’ve probably guessed Pop Tarts anyway.

  4. I’ve been stumbling this stuff for months now. Stumble is probably my favorite online tool. Though, a warning to people thinking of installing it: you can get caught up stumbling and end up reading fake eulogies, or staring at photoshopped pictures of presidential candidate mammals until 3 or 4am. Ah, internets.

Also shameless plug on today’s entry.
MF packets in the pic of my breakfast.

I have also been forwarding the blog to family and friends.
