I am currently on the Paleo Diet and I am enjoying the transformation of my body.  I have read many nutritional books in hopes of finding the ultimate diet.  I could not find one convincing argument for eating grains.  All of them say eat grains because they provide nutrients and fiber.  I looked at the nutrient profile of these grains and came up with the conclusion that green vegetables provide higher doses of these nutrients in lower calories. These vegetables also provide fiber.

However I am currently considering adding legumes to my diet.  I feel that Loren Cordain did not put enough emphasis on why a person should not eat legumes in his book.  I would really appreciate some clarification on why legumes should not be in the Paleo diet.</description>
