Wow... I thought I had a bad week! I only had 2 chocolate ice cream cones. But the day after those cones I was in a fog and craving more! But other than that, I had some seriously low calorie days. It does get easier as this goes along. Like yesterday I didn't have time to go home for lunch, and I didn't bring any to work, so my only choice with 5 minutes to spare: the gas station. And for the record, you can basically ingest NOTHING from a gas station. The best thing I could find was V8 and I actually felt pretty good all afternoon. It's great not being hungry all the time. I was a bit more tired this week, but I guess I just wasn't sleeping much. I love the updates, it's great to hear that everyone else still has their bad days. Can't wait to see next weeks results.

Excellent work everyone!

@Alexandra - I've personally used Turbulence Training and highly recommend it.

It's quick and intense, and also provides a lot of bodyweight options, which are perfect if you travel a lot and can't find a decent gym.

And, may I add, all the challengers are doing a great job. Even with a few slips, everyone seems to be benefiting from some changes. Great work all around!

Hehe - I never thought of a "bake" as a mystery - now I know better!

I also want to comment on the comments from last week: I don't only eat 1000 calories a day. The calorie calculations (using the accepted calculations based on body comp) say that to be in a deficit, I should eat between 1400 and 1800 calories a day (my maintenance is around 1900). Thus, I aim for the low end to hopefully end up in some deficit. The numbers posted last week did not include anything I ate for dinner, which would range from 300-600 calories (if I'm being honest I'll add "at least"). I like to eat nuts and nut butter at night and that adds up quick! I'd guess I'm easily at 1500 per day, maybe more. The intake obviously fluctuates a bit.

Just for reference, I'm a hobbit-ish 5'1", approx. 113#, so my calorie limits are thusly and sadly on the low end.
Thanks for all of you who are keeping up with us and commenting! It's keeping me accountable!

Way to go, folks. Alexandra, I know what you mean with the mystery egg bake thing. I've tried many a "healthy" casserole that turned out to be a bit more pasta, cream cheese, and sugar than I'd bargained for.
