Imagine you’re George Clooney. Take a moment to admire your grooming and wit. Okay, now imagine someone walks up to you and asks, “What’s your name?” You say, “I’m George Clooney.” Or maybe you say, “I’m the Clooninator!” You don’t say “I’m George of George Clooney Sells Movies Blog” and you certainly don’t say, “I’m Clooney Weight Loss Plan”. So while spam is technically meat, it ain’t anywhere near Primal. Please nickname yourself something your friends would call you.

  1. This reminds me that I need to make a Guacamole smoothie. I have avocados and limes and onion…

If anyone wants to give me ideas on how to make a guacamole smoothie let me know!

    • Primal Toad,
I make a Chocolate Protein and Avocado smoothie almost every morning. Check out the recipe:

As for a Guacamole Smoothie, I suggest cutting up a whole avocado, putting it in a blender, pouring in a little coconut milk, squeeze in the juice of half of a lime, put a tiny bit of onion, some salt, pepper, and ice, then blend it all together.

      • From where do you buy your avocados? The stores I go to have avocados for $1.29+ / each, which is personally cost prohibitive from putting them in a smoothie every day, though I would definitley do it if I could find them cheaper elsewhere.

        • I usually buy them for $1.20-$1.29 each. I only use 1/2 of an avocado in each Chocolate and Avocado smoothie, so I am willing to justify that cost.

  2. I tried to pit and score the avocado as shown and I’ve cut off most of my fingers. Should I take those out of the guacamole or is it still considered primal with the fingers included?

  3. Great video, I absolutely love guacamole (although after going primal, I had to learn to eat it with veggies instead of chips, which I actually prefer now). Your recipe looks much more flavorful than mine…next time I make it I’m going to try your suggestion of adding the spices and lime juice. Thanks!

@ Lyle_S: He did say “most” adults should be up to the task of pitting the avocado. I guess you just ended up with extra protein in your guacamole, haha.

  4. Thanks for the comments. Hope you enjoy the recipe. This Guacamole is also awesome on burgers.

  6. Errm, it says “this video has been removed by the user”. I guess this is no longer a useful page.
