Let me introduce myself. My name is Mark Sisson. I’m 63 years young. I live and work in Malibu, California. In a past life I was a professional marathoner and triathlete. Now my life goal is to help 100 million people get healthy. The Challenge Begins Monday, August 3

Announcement: The Primal Blueprint Health Challenge officially begins this coming Monday, August 3.

If you are looking to lose weight, build muscle, increase energy, reduce stress or just generally get back on track this is the perfect opportunity for you to achieve any of your health and fitness goals.

Oh, and did I mention there will be prizes? To the tune of, say, over $6,000 in free stuff over the course of the month? That’s right, accompanying the Primal Blueprint Health Challenge will be 30 Days of Giveaways that will give you the chance to win some super cool Primal gear.

Visit Mark’s Daily Apple this coming Monday for all the details and be ready to get Primal. And tell all your friends, too! I have some special things lined up for newcomers.

Hi all! I discovered this site 2 weeks ago and I was sold straight away! I’ve been trying to live primal for the last 10 days and I’m feeling quite good so far, I’m combining it with the Stronglifts 5×5 weightlifting program since I think it is a good way to start lifting heavy things. Also play soccer once a week for an hour and do some sprinting the weekends (started the sprinting this morning!) I’m definitely ready for the challenge.

I’m in hour 24 of my first 32 hour fast and feel great. I can’t wait to break it at a wedding tonight – sans cake of course:)

Awesome timing. I’ve been bad the last two weeks (vacation can do that to you) and was planning on getting back on track on Monday anyways, now I wont be doing it alone.

after 5 months of working out 4-6 times a week and eating traditional healthy foods with a weight loss of a disappointing 13 lbs, i was searching for something that would keep me motivated. my sister-in-law, a registered dietitian, turned me on to paleo eating, and i’ve been half-heartedly trying to go primal for the last couple of weeks. i was really on track for the first two weeks and lost 6 pounds even without working out at all. then, last week (my 35th birthday), i got off track and ate a bunch of junk (by any definition) and am… Read more »

I’m in this time. I have picked up some not so good habits lately and would also like to drop some weight by my birthday (August 28th). I have already recommitted to one weekly fast and would like to do two. My garden is realy starting to kick out some produce so I know I’ll have that. I also just made friends with a local grass-fed bison farmer so my meat should be no problem.
