In my blog I credit Mark with changing my life and it's true. It started with a link to his Case Against Cardio and I've been hooked ever since. When I read my first MDA post, I weighed 242 pounds. This morning I weighed 203 and it ain't over yet.

Next week I will be attending my father's funeral. He had a stroke and a heart attack, but the real cause of his death was a losing a life long battle with diabetes. Reading this blog isn't a way for me to pass the time, IT MAY BE LIFE SAVING!. So to Mark, Aaron, and all the Bees: regardless if this blog helps sell one bottle of vitamins or a million, keep up the great work because what you are doing is important!!

Sincerely,

Dave

Congrats, Mark and everyone.

I've appreciated the balanced way this site is both whimsical and serious. It's also been a great site to which I send people (friends, coworkers, etc) who are interested in learning about health, diet and fitness. I also learn from the people leaving comments, so cheers to all of you too.

From the recipes to the Definitive Guides to the Dear Mark posts, I've found everything on this site worth reading, even if some of it can be hard to apply (i.e. finding inexpensive, clean meats). I started increasing and varying my sources of dietary fat, making hefty lunch salads, and doing more high intensity CrossFit-style workouts and have noticed an increase in energy level and strength! Keep it up!

I love the Fuming Fuji. Is he dead? I wish you'd resurrect him - he's been a great source of one-liners for me, including:

"100 calories of junk is still junk."

and

"Almost respecting the body is still disrespecting it."

and

"ADDING nutritious ingredients to garbage does not make an unhealthy food miraculously healthy."

and

"Now you can buy pre-made frozen PB&J sandwiches with the crusts already cut off! Just think what you can do with those extra three seconds!"

I love that crabby little apple!

I love to share your blog with others that I think it will help! My favorite post is the one that explains how carbs affect your body, probably one of the Definitive Guides. It's easier swimming upstream when I can refer to your blog and sources to support my "weird" beliefs!
