If anyone in there right mind is supporting this
has got to be out of there mind. Have you forgotten which country you live in? The freakin U.S.of A. HELLO!!! The land of the free. We practice the right of freedom and that includes the right to eat where we want and how much we want. Who in there right mind has the authority to decide whether to serve food which we are going to PAY for, to someone whom they think they are obese. By what guidelines? Unless you have a license to practice medicine,I would rethink this ban. It sounds like the people proposing this have a death wish.

I think what they mean is that usually physicians hold a lot of weight when it comes to their opinion about health matters. Despite the fact that physicians agreed it was preposterous the politicians still went ahead with it.

"What was perhaps most disconcerting, however, is that even physicians agreed that the bill was preposterous!"

Why is that disconcerting, exactly?
