   My mom's dog (i think of him as mine, too, because i lived with him for years) went to the vet today and i got to tell the vet how much BETTER he's been doing after about a month on his new meds. AND he's lost 6 lbs.! (Obese).

   Just got back from hosting a community picnic at our local school with over 500 in attendance. A lot of smiling faces (children and adults) enjoying an evening of togetherness.

   Thanks again for all of your thoughts. This thread has brought me a lot of joy.
