  1. "Insulin resistance, whereby insufficient insulin is released to produce a normal glucose response from fat, muscle and liver cells, was significantly lower in women following high-dose vitamin D supplementation, according to results of a randomised, controlled, double-blind trial published in the British Journal of Nutrition."

One more reason why I'll be adding D to my next blood work.

Yes, I'm definitely going through menopause...... :)

I had the Vit D test added to a blood panel but I won't find out for almost two weeks. Since I've been getting a lot of Florida sunshine this summer plus supps for two months, I sure expect to see a reasonable level.

A naturally cautious kinda guy - have you noticed? - I don't want to proclaim Vit D as the nutritional messiah, but a whole boat load of evidence is indicating that.
