    So, let's take statistical, scientific information of probably variable quality and accuracy and put it in the brains of a populace that understands none of this? And said populace reacts to many things emotionally instead of factually?

    Not a good plan.....

    So if I hadn't already made up my mind about this issue, I would have after seeing the anti-vaccine crowd chime in with Holocaust denial. I wish all debates were that way: two politicians debating complicated tax law, then one guy jumps in with "I read on the internet that Hitler didn't know about the Holocaust." Then I vote for the other guy. Refreshingly simple.

    In the vein of Irish Slim, if I don't have time to get to know a candidate well, or if I suspect a heavy spread of BS, I look to see who and what his contributors are. Also, past job/income positions. Tigers seldom change their stripes.
