  1. Triple how? Chorizo, bacon and ground pork.
    - OK, I'm gonna have to make this.

Or what about this: "Eponymous Umami Burger": Parmesan, roasted tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, onion.

Or how about some Primal dessert?: "Chocolate Mint ice cream Sandwedge": Mint chocolate chip ice cream in between two giant green macaroons (gluten free CY, made from almond flour), dipped deeply and thickly in dark chocolate.

This comes by care of Dr. Eades in his review of a restaurant in Los Feliz, CA, called "Umami Burger" ( http://foodshethought.blogspot.com/2009/10/umami-wednesday-sous-vide-is-it.html ), but I bet I can draw inspiration from these flavor combinations and create some gasps from my family and guests this holiday season!

    Wowza!

See, Primal eating is NEVER boring! ;-)

  6. Thanks Jaeden Ironwolf. I will be doing this for our next summer's 1st grillout!

Funny, when I was in my 'low-fat' forum, with all of the cardio-bunnies, eating my low-fat cottage cheese and oatmeal with egg-whites, they showed this exact recipe and everyone squealed "Ewwwwww!!! Grosssss! That is soooo disgusting! No wonder Americans are fat!" :-D

I'm so glad I have an open mind, researched MDA and got the hell outta dodge! One of those girls is the one who gave me the link to MDA and her daily meals are flaxseed, low-fat cottage cheese, oatmeal and eggwhites, splenda, etc.

Little did she know that she changed my life forever, whereas she continues to suffer :-(
