Yay, so am I. Actually, I was told by the nurse at a physical that I'm 4'11.5" but we'll just let that go.

five foot nothing here.

Actually I recently measured myself with my mom and sister in a competition to see who was shortest, and I actually have 3/4 an inch over five feet, but I just say five feet. It's easier.

Mom lost by the way, by 1/4 an inch. lol She used to be 5'2" so I guess this is what I have to look forward to: shrinkage. ha

5'2"! Kuno and DCKMB I have wished so many times that I could just stretch my legs about 4 inches (well, and my torso a couple of inches too I guess). I wear heels a lot though, so people tend to be surprised when I take my shoes off and I shrink by 3 inches :)

I've been meaning to start a similar topic.
We had a topic about us shorties not being able to loose much weight on Primal. How about we continue it here as well.
I'm 5'2" and I started eating Primal 3 months ago. During that time I haven't lost any weight at all (started with 123 but definitely had some to loose to get leaner).

Progress. I am doing Fat Fest...well, I'm just not eating any carbs at all for 2 weeks. I'm on day 5 and down 3lb.

I think it might have to do something with our hormones when we girls are a bit smaller than an average 5'4 - 5'6.

Anyone else?

5'2.5" checking in. Thing is, I almost never *feel* short. Just strong. ;)

ETA: People are almost always surprised to hear my real height. Good posture makes a HUGE difference. Stand straight, think strong, and people will see you as taller than you are.

5 foot even on my Flintstone feet (4.5 D, no arches). I joke that I am a 6 foot person with 6 A feet who got hit with a Shrinky Dink ray.

You must mean that it's hard for you short *skinnies* to lose weight. ;) I, on the other hand, have a good 60 lbs. left to lose, so it's a little easier for me.

I started August 1 at 200lbs and am currently about 183.

Crunchysue, awesome for you! I also have a lot to loose. I'm 5'4" and was 185 in July & now I'm down to about 160. Woohoo! I agree, though, it seems if you've got a good bit to loose, it seems to come off easier!

Me.. I actually think I am not quite 5 foot, as I really am only about 150cm tall. Which makes about 4 foot 11ish.

Don't know about the other gals on here but as a shortie I'd say that shortie blokes are desirable to us tiny girls. I'm so happy to finally find a guy that fits my height- a face full of chest is never great when you hug your man.

Funny thing is tall skinny guys seem to be attracted to me!(I think its' that 'protective thing') My first two boyfriends were both 6ft 6 - so I guess we looked just as funny.

Tishkaminx, two of those over six-footers also had big ol' Mike Brady-type white boy 'fros, so make that "really big-headed frizzy Q-tip." Maybe I was trying to compensate in future offspring for body and hair type. No idea how this would have played out as I will soon appear at my 30th HS reunion and do the facepalm "Damn! I forgot to reproduce!"

5'2" here. I have long legs and no hips, so most people think I'm taller than I am...but I would love to be just a few inches taller. sigh.

STOP WANTING TO BE TALLER SHORTIES!!!

(a short woman is petite and men like to feel like they are 'protecting' you. Tall women, like me, who tower over a man, do not make a man feel like you need his protection!)

Okay, I did another inventory and that 3 should be 3 frizzy Q-tips. And they all went for short Asian women (attended one wedding where they kept trying to seat me on the wrong side of the church). But my last 3 guys have all been under 5'10'' and all with crummy posture...maybe I'm trying to look taller?
