Price Rite is a cheapy grocery store in the NE, they sell mostly junk food. Sometime I buy some produce there, however. Today I walked through the meat department and spotted something new. Nature's Reserve Free Range Beef from Australia. Wonderful dark red color and yellow fat. Flank Steak $2.99 and Boneless Rib Eye Roast $3.99. I bought some right away and will be testing it soon. I'm shocked. Have I been fooled is it not the real deal?

Australia? The only reference I can find for Nature's Reserve beef is from Namibia: http://www.namibian.com.na/index.php?id=28&tx_ttnewstt_news=51091&no_cache=1

If there's any contact info on the label, we can do some digging; if it looks good (and your description sounds like it does) it may well be the real deal.

The package had Australian inspection stamps and the label says product of Australia.
