Personality Types

Mark is always making (probably undeserved) flattering comments about the Primal community, and I was wondering if there are some personality patterns amongst us:

While unscientific, I think the above test seems pretty cool.

I know from multiple myers-briggs test I always come up INTJ...did on the test this time too
INTJ - "Mastermind". Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.
makes sense...I'm a Systems Engineer :-)

I got ISFP ;) I've taken similar tests a few times but can't remember if they're always the same.....
ETA: This is "The Artist" though I forgot to copy the blurb. I do remember I once came out the same "type" as Hannibal Lector....!
I see we're all "I"s so far though

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.
Over the last few years, I tend to waffle between ISTJ and INTJ.

I got ESTP, but usually with myers-briggs I am ENTP. Maybe I am in a bad mood today!! :)
I'm surprised that everyone so far is "I" instead of "E"

I'm not really...people misinterpret I vs E...it really goes to how you deal with problems...eg do you "talk it out" with others or do you really look inward...although there is some of the stereotypical, public vs private type aspects too

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.

ENTJ
ENTJ - "Field Marshall". The basic driving force and need is to lead. Tend to seek a position of responsibility and enjoys being an executive. 1.8% of total populationPosted 4 months ago # -
INTJ. Funny, we're supposed to be rare, but I keep running into them on internet forums dedicated to micro-analyzing lifestyles and hobbies... almost like there's some kind of a self-selection bias going on. ;)

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.

ESFJ - "Seller". Most sociable of all types. Nurturer of harmony. Outstanding host or hostesses. 12.3% of total population.
"Can't we all just get along?!" ;-)

ENTP. I think there might be a pattern emerging. There are a ton of TJ's and just 2 P's

I did the full personality test at a weekend away with my family about 4 years ago. I'm an ENFP in my personal life, work life an ENTJ, and it's based on preferance.

ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.

Interesting that ISTJ is only 11.6 of the population, yet so many of us are!

ISFJ - "Conservator". Desires to be of service and to minister to individual needs - very loyal. 13.8% of total population.
Can I bring anyone their slippers? :D

INFJ - "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.
When I've done the complete Myers-Briggs, I came out INFP--no doubt about the introvert, though...when it comes to needing time alone to recharge.

ESFP - "Entertainer". Radiates attractive warmth and optimism. Smooth, witty, charming, clever. Fun to be with. Very generous. 8.5% of the total population.

Interesting description and comparison between the J's and P's.
Interesting results so far.

I did this for my school a year ago but I don't remember the results. Most of us were Es, since teaching is easier to adjust to if you like to talk!
Here's mine:ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population.

I've taken the test a few times before, and I always seem to vary between
INTJ - "Mastermind". Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.
and
ISTJ - "Trustee". Decisiveness in practical affairs. Guardian of time- honored institutions. Dependable. 11.6% of total population.
(which I got this time)So basically the I-TJ parts are always there, the N and S change slightly depending on my mood or recent events or something.

I ended up with ISTP - "Engineer". Values freedom of action and following interests and impulses. Independent, concise in speech, master of tools. 5.4% of total population.
I know I've gotten INTP, ESTP and ISTP before (the first two are always very close in percentage), and I think it is often dependent on the mood I'm in/recent goings on in my life.

So im INTJ - "Mastermind". Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.

INTP, tested that years ago.
We're all over the place
Posted 4 months ago # -
INTP, although it came up INTJ the second time. But reading over the pertinent characteristics on how I make decisions, I'll got with P predominant.
These descriptions make us sound like the forty year old living in mother's basement stuck on the computer except when we come up for some chainsaw murders: http://similarminds.com/jung/intp.html
I've done some of the other tests, came out very close to balance of left and right hemispheres, left dominant. As I have thought for years.

INTJ,
This is the first time I take this test...Posted 4 months ago # -
ISTJ - This is the first time I've taken this particular test, but the results are similar to other ones I've taken for work and school. Interesting topic!

INTP. Never did this before. What's this mean?
