How many ounces of mussels do I need to make a complete meal for one? What else can I eat with them?

Personally... when it comes to mussels and clams, I'll eat myself silly- lol. A serving is however many I can get. :P

Try checking out fitday.com or another site, and see what they say for nutrient breakdown, and figure out how many you need to eat to get the calories/protein/etc that you want.

    BUTTER!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Mussels steamed in butter, a bit of white wine and TONS of garlic.

OMG, this is one of my fave meals.

    Yeah, I love mussells
So you think mussels, butter and few veggies would be a complete meal?

    Absolutely!

If you're worried you won't be full, what about serving them on a bed of sauteed mushrooms? Or with some spicy italiam sausage? Or a huge cesear salad?
