Muscle and Cancer

So I guess this isn't really an apiphany but it's something of the like. My Bio Prof is one of the coolest and smartest-if not the smartest- teachers I've ever had. We were in discussion last night and he said something that kind of blew my mind.
Muscle cells don't get cancer.
I have no idea why I find that fascinating, but I thought I would share. Time to go lift some weights maybe?

I was going to say that organs get cancer, then I realized that organs are not true 'meat'/ muscle, only the heart.

Glorth: Lance Armstrong had cancer of the testes. The testes are glandular, not muscular.

I know Griff. Just saying you can still get it AND it can still be beaten.

glorth: Ah, I see where you're coming from. Yes, it can be beaten. My father didn't live through it, though. (Liver and esophageal cancer, and he was a type 2 diabetic and boy did he love him some carbs. *sigh*)

I've also heard that alkaline bodies cannot get cancer.

Oh I wasn't saying because you have muscle you can't get it, I was just repeating what my prof said, that specific muscle cells can't. But, im guessing those links are referring to rare disorders where it does happen.
