Hirschschinken aka "Deer Ham"

Has anyone got any experience with ham of deer? I am not too sure of the translation so that is what I would call it anyway. It is air dried ham and apparently very tasty.
The town I live in at the mo is called Linz, in Austria, and we are Cultural Capital of Europe 09, therefore they have lots and lots of events. One of them is a culinary food mile where farmers etc. sell their produce. This is where I came across the ham but have not bought it yet.M

Maranne,
I would SO buy that!
I even found a recipe using it, which sounds delicious, although I am pretty sure it would be terrific on its own (long URL):

HI Kuno1chi,
I will see if I can get hold of it tomorrow at the stall. I should have bought it when I had the chance! My family mock me of course....they are not Primal at all.
If you like some help with translating German recipes let me know, because German is my mother tongue.
