I'm having friends over for dinner tomorrow and I'm making Tiramisu for dessert. I was wondering how it can be primalized in the future and this is the idea I have.

    Ingredients:

    mascarpone - small tub
Creme Fraiche or whipped cream - small tub
Berries - strawberry, blueberry, raspeberry, blackberry (any or all)
liqueur of choice - maybe grand marnier, amaretto/disoronno, chambord
    dark chocolate - grated
    sweetener of choice - optional

In a glass tray, spread a layer of berries that have been macerated with liqueur, top it with whipped mascarpone mixed with sweetener (if using). Use a spatula to smooth the top. On top of that, spread whipped cream or creme fraiche which has been flavored with liqueur. Garnish with grated dark chocolate. Cut into squares and serve.

Or make the above layers in individual glass cups and serve as parfait.

Diana, I'm making a regular one tomorrow with lady fingers and coffee since one of the friends loves it. Maybe I should make a primal version just for my mum and me.

I ate a piece of Gala Apple last night and it was way too sweet for me. I usually eat it w/ Almond Butter but since I'm on a nut fast now, it was out of the question. So I cut up 2 slices into tiny pieces, added some mascarpone cheese, a dash of cinnamon, a dash of cocoa and a teeny bit of chopped walnuts for crunch, it was super delicious and oh-so-fatty.
