I made this dessert for friends last night. Wanted to share it with you all here in case you're looking for fruity treats for the upcoming holidays.

I got a platter of fruit from the grocery store - watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew - and threaded them on a wooden skewer making sure all the pieces of fruit were of a different color. I served it with a saffron-cardamom yoghurt dip.

    Saffron-cardamom Yoghurt dip:

    Whole Fage/ Greek yoghurt - 1/2 C
Seeds from 1 or 2 cardamom - powdered
Saffron - a pinch, gently crushed w/ fingers
Honey/ maple syrup/ sweetener of choice - to taste (omit for a tangy dip)
    Chopped nuts to garnish

Mix all the above and serve with fruit kebabs.

    maba, that sounds delicious!

I personally don't eat fruit, but I know all my friends love it; maybe I'll splurge and have a few pieces of honeydew next time I have people over
    :-D
