Don't sweat the small stuff

This is nothing more than a small rant, please allow me to get it out and I'll move on;)
Eat the right food.
Eat appropriate quantities of said food.
Stay active. The Big-3 as I call it. We all know how to do it. For those that don't, that's why Mark wrote the book. By adhering to the Big-3 most of the time you've conquered 99% of it.
Nothing personal but I read so many threads where we nitpick over the most inconsequential things. I also read about people not having time to workout. If we have time to comment on a message board we have time to workout. I just finished a 10 minute workout that left me gasping in agony on the floor...done!
I hope nobody takes this personally because it's not intended to be nasty, just a friendly reminder that we often times make this far more complicated than it has to be. Have a good one!

I agree. After all, we already eat better than 99% of CW followers.

I love this post. Thanks for reminding us of "the basics"

Sometimes it takes a smack upside the head to get our attention. Don't sweat the small stuff . . . everything is small stuff.

WELL SAID!

And BINGO was his name-O! :)

Nah, researching and exploring (maybe even arguing about) the small stuff is what makes this fun. Move slowly, eat a BAS and a steak, get pretty boring to talk about after awhile.

Seems like a pretty simple motto to live by if you ask me!

You mean I don't need to say 10 Our Fathers and 20 Hail Marys because I put some soy sauce on my stir fry today?

Excellent post - thank you! I totally agree. It doesn't need to be rocket science. And quite frankly, I have more pressing things to think about. This primal way of life is about making the rest of what we do easier and more enjoyable, not about consuming our every waking moment. Leave that to the CW 'diets'.

Well said, Get Primal!

Agreed, being too meticulous about the tiniest details seems to defeat the main purpose of the PB: enjoying life.
The only thing we need to worry about is minimizing non-primal stuff, which becomes extremely easy if we stick to animals and some good plants to saciety. It's really not that complicated. And while it might seem hard at first for some, the longer one sticks to it, the easier it becomes.
