Daily Weight Fluctuation?

Since eliminating grains and going more primal I've noticed that my weight seems to fluctuate much more. On any given day I might move 2 or 3 pounds up or down. I used to be rock steady, but no more. I'm pretty much at my desired weight, so it's not a big deal for me. I'm just curious to see if this common?

I seem to be balancing between 79-81 kg. Common I guess.

Being that I'm working on losing weight, my weight only ticks up about a pound during the day, and down slightly more than a pound over night, resulting in about a 1-2 pound loss over a week.
When I was eating grains, it fluctuated a lot more, even while losing weight.

My weight can vary by 3kg over a couple of days (up and down).
I'm trying to see if I'm gaining weight from muscle and it's almost impossible to track.
I have to check over long periods of time...

Mine too I can very 160-164. It largely depends on my carb and salt intake, (salt is sometimes unavoidable) and when my last meal was taken. I guess it's mainly water content.

If you insist on using weight to monitor body change then make sure you take your weight at the same time every day. Morning is best.
