Well, on the way, at least! I wanted to keep the title brief.
I went to a sliding scale low income clinic yesterday for a few things. (Hey, I live in America and don't deserve health insurance, you know.) The intake nurse was impressed with my blood pressure and I mentioned my weight loss. When I mentioned that "vegetable" oils was something I no longer use and how chronic pain went away she lit up.
She told me that she, too, had the same experience, and that after her's, she got her family to dump the oils and they all improved. So she was all ears and jotting URL's when I told her about ditching wheat, sugar, eating more meat, paleo, primal, etc.
I'll be back there in a couple of weeks and I'll be sure to have a paper of important links with me.
BTW, they are going to do a blood panel and I asked about the Vitamin D check and they added it to the prescription! Woo hoo!

Nice one OTB!
Good to see some health workers actually getting / understanding things - hopefully it will work its way upwards....

Sweet. Glad you are getting the D checked. Let us know if you're in normal range- should be interesting since you live in sunny Florida. I'm adding that to my next blood panel as well.

The irony is that the D.O. had quite the belly. I also heard him in the hallway asking for some tea with sugar......
I also have been taking 4000 IU's a day of D and upped it to 6000 a couple of weeks ago.
Will duly report.

"This little light of mine. . .I'm gonna let it shine." That's the way it works, OTB--you're a great role model for primal living. I'll be interested to hear about the D as well.
