    Soritng cooked Bacon

I don't know if this was posted here yet or not. My apologies if it was. I recently thought I was an article on MDA saying a good way to store cooked bacon. I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone give me some tips?

    George

    My very first post!

Yuck, as my first post I mistyped storing. That should be STORING COOKED BACON. I am going to sit in the corner now.

Yea, its always best freshly cooked! But, I enjoy adding them to salads too. Just plop them in a zip-loc bag if you want to save it for later
    Find me at aToadontheRoad.com. Cheers!

You can keep it in the fridge for a while (I've kept it up to a week). Or if you needed it to last longer, you can freeze it. I'd recommend putting something between slices (wax or parchment paper) if you freeze it or else they stick together. I often keep some chopped/crumbled in the freezer to throw into meals or on a salad or whatnot.

I was wondering who snorts bacon too. That's pretty hard core even for around here.

So, what's next free-baconing or intravenous bacon injection?
