Your probably thinking of Chillies , Many (most?) chillies, hot & sweet peppers, paprika etc are nightshades
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

    I like making turmeric tea:
Creamy Turmeric Tea | Mark's Daily Apple

I also like to put it on sardines. And of course (as has been mentioned) Indian dishes. And eggs

We love hot turmeric ginger tea, especially these days.
Amazon has a great organic one, Republic, I think is the brand.
Juice of 1/2 org lemon, drop or 2 of liquid stevia, fabulous!!

I use mine in scrambled eggs, on sweet potato, in most things with coconut, and in sauteed onions.

All of these ideas are GREAT! Thank you so much. I am really going to mix it in all my ground meat to start and go from there!

I use it in many of the things already listed. I especially like to add it to raw chocolate truffles or Paleo Apple Pie. I try sneaking it into everything, along with liquid smoke (I'm a smoke lover).

I not only use turmeric for cooking for also for skin because of its antiseptic properties. But thanks to all, I got some additional information.
