9:00 AM 3 hardboiled eggs, 1/2 cup walnuts (carbs: 5)
1:00 PM 1 cup lentil soup (80)
7:00 PM BBQ porkchop, salad (carbs: 3), tajada (fried mature plantain) (carbs: 30)
9:00 PM Alcoholic beverage (carbs: 30)
TOTAL CARBS: 148
Overall glad to have kept the carbs under 150g, but again would have been much lower if not for the major cagada of the lentils, which I had no idea until I looked it up how many carbs they really have. Now I know that this really is not a mild divergence from the primal way of eating, but really a quite serious breach of low-carb, primal practice. This is the entire reason of this journal- to force me to realize what is actually going into my mouth and what the implications of those choices actually are. Now I know! No more lentils.
