    Maybe a silly question

    Primal Fuel
But I'm not sure, so... can you get any Vit D by going on a sunbed?

Am thinking about using them if so.

No, sun beds are not good. Please get your sun the natural healthy way!

I don't think tanning beds are primal, they weren't around 100,000 years ago...

Seriously though, I know its not very primal, but do you mind me asking dacec what your "no" is based upon?

Frankly I don't like them because they are artificial and have very little regulation. I think the natural sun is a much better option, just like I prefer real fruit added to my plain yogurt vs fruity flavored yogurt.
In a pinch I only came up with this one link.... hopefully you will find some value in it. Otherwise you can Google sun vs tanning beds, the only trouble is there is a lot of sunscreen worshiping info out there that I don't agree with.

Tanning beds are not acceptable as a means of getting your daily dose of vitamin D because they provide high levels of UV-A and very little UV-B

Thanks for the link I will look into it.

Yep, I do get out in the sunlight when possible. I'm perfectly aware that real sunlight is superior, but my question wasn't "which is better".

Some beds have more UV-B. There is some information on the names of the different varieties at vitamindcouncil.org
