I typically fast for 14-18 hours a la Leangains. Lifting fasted has been fine. However, on Mon, Wed, Fri I play basketball at lunch and I've just been dragging ass. Legs just feel dead and can't get running.
Last Friday I broke my fast early and had breakfast and that was the most energy I've had at basketball in a couple of months. Maybe it was a coincidence. Maybe not.
Anyone play sports fasted and how has it affected the performance?
