I'm 68 today, and I hate to say it, but I need help! I'm a 68" male, about 182#. About 2 months ago, I went the best Paleo I could go. I count calories to stay within about 1300-1500 per day. One month ago, I started IF. Everyday. I go to the gym everyday for an hour and do weight training. I don't stand around for that hour and bs with the other guys..I work!. I eat as clean and home-made as I can. NO junk food. NO sugar. Thanksgiving, sure, I had verboten foods. But WTF. And it being by BD, some home made cheese cake from the GF, hopefully followed up by a lot of sex. And I have to say so myself, all the gym work has put on quite a bit of muscle. But I still have this god-damned crap around the middle! I want to see some abbs before I die. Which could be any day now.
I understand that going from a weight of 191 and stalling at about 182 could be due to exchanging fat for muscle but that tape measure on the waist isn't changing. And it's been over a month now!
So, my Christmas wish is this....What the hell else can I do?
Typical diet is..being IF, no breakfast other than coffee with gym in the morning fasting state.
Lunch; 3-4 eggs scrambled in butter/coconut oil with bacon or sausage or steak. Recently added some oatmeal
Dinner; Turkey chilli or steak or salmon steamed brocolli or so, sweet potato, butter
Snacks; cup or two unsweetened cherrys, veggie muffin or two. 2 coffees in the morning, one at night. Tea.
Give it around three years....
