    yeah you are

I mean there's so many ants in my eyes! And there are so many TVs, microwaves, radios... I think, I can't, I'm not 100% sure what we have here in stock.. I don't know because I can't see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren't too low!

Silly goose, through MAGIC of course.

I had two eggs for dinner and I'd better dream about running a marathon tonight or I won't burn them off.

@Quikky (not sure how to quote using the app)

Wikipedia states that only 2% of dietary chol gets absorbed by the body. Maybe you can tell them that?

Sent from my HTC Desire using Marks Daily Apple Forum mobile app
    "Bread-Bread-Dinner
It ain't makin' me any thinner
    I eat a sandwich for break-fast
And then I have a sugar blast!
I eat toasted bread for lunch
    And enjoy my mid-day crunch!
    At dinner I eat pasta
And end my day with a sugar disasta!"

From the How am I not starving??? thread. Enjoy the read.

    People are masters of rationalization.

They've been trained that "a calorie is a calorie", and deep down they think diet means nothing. Just buy what is cheapest and push it down your throat.

Thus if you have positive changes, it must be from something other than nutrition.

I'd probably starve on the cheapest stuff. So of course I'd lose weight! See, it's not the diet doing it, it's the starvation because I simply can't swallow the disgusting cheap stuff!

I don't think there's much use in telling them anything. From my experience, people are not very rational when it comes to this stuff. The conventional wisdom diet is supposed to prevent diabetes, poor cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc., yet people who try to follow it usually still end up with these problems. It never occurs to them that maybe the conventional wisdom is not so wise.

I agree. Somtimes I feel a bit frightened when I see how many people pick up a product that has "conscious choice!" or "healthy choice!" on the package without even reading ingredient lists or anything. They just toss it in their grocery cart. Way to be conscious of what you buy, people.
