    Enzymes and probiotics?

Does anyone have any experience with taking enzymes or probiotics for a dairy intolerance???

I know enzymes help digest and probiotics help heal a leaky gut. However I do need some suggestions on how I can heal my gut so that eventually I can eat some dairy and not get puffy and sick after consuming dairy within 24-48 hours later!!

I'm currently on a moderate carb paleo diet. I'm not losing any weight so am going to drop my carbs to 20 and below per day. I would love to consume dairy at some point???

    Help LOL

    Thanks guys!!!

Do you live in a state that allows raw milk? If so, you might find you can tolerate that right away.

A broad spectrum enzyme like Omega-zyme works really well. Probiotic supplements are helpful but I would really recommend using homemade fermented foods for your probiotics. The are more effective and much, much cheaper.

    I live in MN!!!

I'm sure there has to be raw milk around somewhere???

Thanks soo much for the help!!! I'm going to try the Omega-zyme.

Soo many low carb recipes incorporate dairy and I pretty much get the same reaction as when I eat wheat. Bloated stomach and face, then my sinuses just fill up!!!!

    Thanks again!!!

I hope it works for you My kids had zero tolerance for dairy but as soon as we had access to raw they have done wonderfully on it. It usually tastes much better too.

If that doesn't do it, more time on fermented foods will do more gut healing and then I would try it again in 6 months.

Id stop dairy completely & work on healing your gut & then try & reintroduce in a year or so.
