I do drink a lot of warm water, as coffee and soup water with my taters. Only had blueberries and potatoes for dinner today, sort of a DIY Okinawan Potato effort.

Not sure what went wrong with tater round 2, but I haven't lost anything since Sunday. Will try again next week, and only do boiled plain potatoes.

11/12: 171.2 (potato hack diet start)
    11/13: 170.2
    11/14: 169.6
    11/15: 170

On the 13th in the evening, I was craving butter, so I had 1 Tbs. Earth Balance soy free spread. There is no "butter" in the house as DD is gluten and casein free.

Yesterday morning I put a couple of teaspoons EBSFS into the pot of boiling potatoes.

So, if it's true that even a tiny amount of fat slows down weight loss, this would explain it. I guess. I am stilled bummed out a little bit. Looking forward to tomorrow though.

I definitely prefer cold boiled diced potatoes over cold baked potato slices.

I increased my magnesium glycinate to 500 mg twice a day and I increased my Vitamin C to 1000 mg twice a day.

Also, I am always amazed by how much faster organic potatoes cook as compared to conventional. 12 minutes vs. 20 minutes.

Hmmm, my potatos always cook in 12 minutes, not organic ones.... I steam them though. I cut a med potato into 3

Don't think so, lots of people have cream in their coffee.

Fat that is in addition to cream in their coffee. It's mentioned in this thread.

Is there is difference in RS between white taters and Yukon Gold? The Gold taste so much better!

Start day 3: my hands are less swollen his morning though still retaining fluids. Not quite as bloated this morning.

People add some fats to potato. 1T fat per 2lbs potato should still result in weightloss.

You wrote: 3. No more than 1tbsp oil or fat per 2 lb potatoes.

Were you including the 1 Tbs. fat/cream for the day, that people sometimes put in their coffees?

In the first few posts of this thread Otzi stated no oil or butter in the potatoes. And someone (I thought it was you) documented the weight loss slowdown when they added cottage cheese to their potatoes. Someone also wrote that adding cottage cheese resulted in bulking.

It made a difference for me. Will see what the scale shows tomorrow, etc.
