Crispy slices of salty fried pork belly.
Yeah, my family thinks I'm crazy, but it's happy food for me.
He who dares not offend cannot be honest.
+1 on coffee as well. Although I tend to overdo it.

People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.
you beat me too it. but yes. coffee. above all other food. and i prob overdo it too.Coffee
No particular foods, but when I try something new at home, preparing the dish from fresh high quality ingredients, loosely following a recipe and adding my own "touch". When it comes out really good and filling, I am happy
I also enjoy sharing what I cook. Makes me happy too
Yep, anything chocolate...
However a good meal in general makes me happy

Salmon. Makes both my body and mind happy!
In the UK we have a membership club that sends out a box of chocolates monthly. It is made from really fresh, high-quality ingredients. Yes, it includes sugar, but it isn't cut with vegetable oils. It tastes absolutely divine.
I once bought a box of their chocolates that was near the sell by date and it tasted just like any other box of chocolates that you'd buy in the shops. All the chocolate on the shelves has basically gone off by the time you get your hands on it, and it has an unrealistically long use-by date. I hate the taste of rancid oil, especially rancid vegetable oil in old cheap chocolate (and I can't understand why other people don't notice the odd taste!)
The stuff I get from this club is really fresh, it's probably made as close to shipping as possible, which they can do because they have no shelves to stock and they know how many people will buy. I reckon that makes all the difference in the world.
That's my happy food. I guess it's still chocolate at the end of the day. If only it were cheaper. Then again maybe not because I'd eat too much of it. :-)
I agree with Orange on this one. Salmon. For some reason it makes me feel totally nourished, and like I did something totally wonderful for myself that tasted like heaven.
