I make bone broth frequently, and end up with a lot of tallow as a result. Does anyone know any good low carb ways to use this up? Snacks ideas would be good. I need to up my calories in general so I'd love to figure out a way to use it more often in something that's easy to eat. So far I just use it now and then as a cooking fat.
Add some dried ground beef and some dried cranberries for pemmican. Mark has a recipe out there, but I use alot less tallow in mine.
As a kid I used to spread it on a thick crust of bread or hot slice of toast and sprinkle with salt. It was fantastic, I can't right now think of a primal alternative.
