So you're saying that HDL is the bad cholesterol?
No, it's defensive, but having it high doesn't necessarily mean that
you're on a good diet program, because just drinking too much liquor
can raise it.

My trigs are good, my cholesterol is good; high HDL and low LDL signifies impaired steroid synthesis, since less cholesterol is available in the mitochondria for steroidogenesis. Anything about fructose raising trigs in a harmful way is unsubstantiated bull. Thyroid is linked to both. You should know that.
