Do you think they've ever shut a thread down for hippieness?

I figure if I keep posting this stuff it will eventually sink in. Yeah, I'm naive
"I think the basic anti-aging diet is also the best diet for prevention and treatment of diabetes, scleroderma, and the various "connective tissue diseases." This would emphasize high protein, low unsaturated fats, low iron, and high antioxidant consumption, with a moderate or low starch consumption.

In practice, this means that a major part of the diet should be milk, cheese, eggs, shellfish, fruits and coconut oil, with vitamin E and salt as the safest supplements."

I really can't believe how many wrong conclusions have been reached about Peat and his followers. It's almost as though those who have reached these inaccurate conclusions don't even read his work or peruse the posts made by the "Peat crowd." There are so many ridiculous assumptions and untruths that they aren't even worth trying to refute them because there's just so many of them. It seems like some people are reading one post or a few common things and taking it completely out of context to the point that everything about Peat and his followers is completely skewed. Some are hellbent on a smear campaign, but others just come off as totally misinformed and nutty. Very reminiscent of trying to convince anyone conditioned for CW about any updated nutritional information.

    Why ARE we awake?!

I've read some Peat. It goes, "Mitochondrial CO2 directly benefits from excess hyperplasia, except if you put your krebs hat on inside out you can never make tryptophan dance for money. Aliens."

Actually, go ahead and post some Peat. Try to find something from him that remotely makes sense and isn't an assumption built on an assumption based on chemistry. Show me.
