Oh, yes ... over on Anglesey. I've seen their stuff in the Delis on the island but never thought to look up a web address. Good call!

Also of interest from Anglesey is Home Page - Beef Direct Limited ... Moo Baa Oinc in Beaumaris is a great butchers and has a small restaurant above: Restaurant Cennin Beaumaris

    Welsh black is so good

I'm going to put in an order from the smokery today - eel, scallops, butter, eggs and the rice. I'll give it a go. I'm fine with rice every now and again. I'll probably pop some other fish in there and some venison, too.

I spoke to the guy there today.

If you call him it's better.

Basically I made a list and he said some not here and etc so waiting a week until it's ready in stock (Monday) and he's calling me back to go ahead.

I'm going for like 7 different fish, butter , eggs, partridge, tomatoes , rice & duck fat .

I usually give folks a ring where I can ... a quick chat and they often drop in a few extras, gratis.

    Good haul!

Shame the salmon is farmed but it looks like I could easily blow a whole week's food budget in one order.
Man seeks to change the foods available in nature to suit his tastes, thereby putting an end to the very essence of life contained in them.

I hope the mussels are local. Somewhere around a third of all Britain's mussels are farmed from the Menai Straits between Anglesey and the mainland. Almost all go direct to France. Daft, eh?
